Questions & Answers

Water flowing extremely slow. Worked fine for a month. Last one did the same thing after 2 months

I flushed the line before both installations.
Asked by: Bill
Try an in line filter to keep rust out of the pressure valve. It is possibly getting plugged and shutting the flow of the valve down. These units are susceptible to rust which can affect the valve flow.

Customer Reviews

Anti-Siphon Toilet Tank Fill Valve is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but... The device is neat and works quite well. Adjusting the water level was quite easy using the spring loaded screw. The problem I had was getting it to stop leaking. The nut provided is difficult to hand tighten. I had to use a wrench which damages the nut. Ultimately I had to get another flush valve because I damaged the thread on the shank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and works perfect Best and most reliable tank valve have used them now over 5 years and have never had one to fail! With all other types of toilet tank fill valves I've used They never last more than a year before failing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design This would be a great product if it actually worked for more than a week. The unit does not fail safe. When the unit fails the water runs continuously. I took the unit apart several times and each time I found the rubber diaphragm was disconnected from the stainless steel lever. I'd reassemble it correctly but after a few days the unit would fail again. I believe the high water level in this old tank (10") may be too much pressure for the device to handle. It may work well with lower water levels but I wouldn't chance it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fussy Bought it for standard toilet. Same problem as others previously said "Filled too fast. The water line that fills the bowl didn't have enough time to fill. Bowl was always low."

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible experience When I found this valve for the first time I thought I had already resolved the problem of my clients and buy 50 units, seemed like a good idea, but at the end of 1 year as of 100 clients had called me back and i had to replace them at all, if you're a professional plumber don't bother installing it, the diaphragm is loose or corroded with the water, i lost quite a bit of money
