Frequently Bought Together

Product Overview

Duratemp is manufactured with a strong plywood veneer inner core and a tough hardboard face that won't split, crack or check - even with rough treatment and is backed by a 50-year limited warranty. Duratemp is made of genuine plywood, so even though it's lighter, it's also stronger than most siding products. Easy installation and painting means it costs about the same as ordinary siding. Its durability and strength ensure that maintenance costs are kept down. Its surface is 100% clear and free of patches and repairs.

California residents: see   Proposition 65 information

  • With a factory applied primer, it's easy to paint and can withstand exposure to the elements
  • Duratemp has the texture and appearance of natural rough sawn cedar
  • Made tough, built to last
  • Made in the U.S.A.

I've seen pre-primed siding that is only primed on the edges and the grooved surface. The back is not primed. I'm trying to find a siding I can hang from a fence and while the backside won't get direct water it will get some water and I'd rather not have to paint the back of all 20 sheets before I can hang them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great I used this on the inside walls of my garage, Install was easy, the sides are grooved to fit together. Primed made painting easy, one thick coat was all it needed. It is a little more expensive but well worth it. My walls look very good for a D I Y. December 31, 2014
