Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ruger Finish on bowl pits after few months
I was pleased with the look even though it was not concrete as advertised (it is a blend)... however, after a few months the inside bowl pits and loses its finish. I even dried it out for several days and sprayed the inside and edges of the bowl with Rustoleum, let it dry (left it for a few days to make sure it was totally dried) and it continues to pit pretty badly. I like the look, just not happy with the bowl pitting.
I'm replacing with a concrete one in the spring, my concrete one lasted over 15 years and through tough Minnesota winters. I wanted a different birdbath when moving to Texas...I have learned my lesson, concrete... even though heavy, lasts a lot longer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mcalmax The elk love it!
The name is misleading as the bird bath is made of a composite material and not actual concrete, but it is well made, sturdy, and blends in well with garden surroundings. The elk that frequently pass through our front yard at night drink it dry and move on and have not yet knocked it over!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Skitch Pretty good little birdbath.
It's a decent birdbath, a little on the light side though. It can tend to be top-heavy when full of water, so it really should be put on a nice sturdy base. In the future I may drill a hole in the top of the base and fill it with sand, just to bulk up the weight a bit. The construction feels fairly solid for hollow resin. The finish on it is well done, and the design itself is rather nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Whitedog Love my new birdbath and so do the birds!
I like the style of this birdbath - not the typical style. It holds plenty of water. The bigger birds especially love it. The top stays on, and the whole unit does not fall over - even in high winds. I also believe the price was reasonable, plus I got free delivery.

Home Depot states that it is concrete, when it is obviously resin. Thanks to Skitch, we now know that! Get it together, HD!
