4x4 post

I have four - 4x4 outdoor posts. How many of these should I order? Thanks!
Asked by: nanda
A standard 4 inch square post is actually 3-1/2 inches on each side. The most economical way to wrap qty.4 - 4" square posts is with the two wrap: qty.1 - 87048 (48" x 96") and qty.1 - 87128 (12" x 96"). Cut the wraps down to 14 inches (3-1/2" x 4) the wood panels of the two wrap will butt together. Use a utility knife between the panels. Cut the standard 96" (8 foot) length with a fine tooth saw as needed. What looks really nice is that you can finish the top and bottom with regular straight crown and base molding. Use a miter box saw and cut at 45 degrees for each corner like a picture frame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The finished product looks great and was easy to install. We had two circular features to cover during our basement remodel. One was a standard 3.5 inch support pole and the other was an 8 inch plumbing pipe. The 3.5 inch was easily covered with adhesive and the pole wrap after installing a column top and base. We used round cardboard tubes meant for cement support installations as the surface to cover the 8 inch pipe and glued on the wrap. It looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great custom cabinet look! I used this to create a custom look for a very large display unit. The finished product is stunning due to the simple lines of the material, and its quality was very good. I plan to do more special purpose cabinets using this material for accents, etc.
