Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Flooring Nail I purchased these Porta-nails along with a Freeman Pro flooring nailer from HD and I had a very positive experience with both. I was nailing solid 3/4" Brazilian Teak (Cumaru) to a 3/4" subfloor. Brazilian Teak is very hard (3540 Janka rating) & I was concerned about how the nails would hold. I can safely say that these nails are doing an awesome job of holding the hardwood flooring down. I had to use a crowbar to pry up a piece that I had nailed in the wrong place. You won't be sorry about using these on your nice hardwood floor! January 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Short nails don't go through sub floor. I used these shorter nails to prevent going through the sub floor which they did. They seemed to hold as well as the more common 2" nails. August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy nail that does the job Used these flooring nails in a 3-in-1 flooring nailer/stapler also purchased from Home Depot. My flooring was 3/4" and the subfloor was 3/4". None of the nails went through the backside of the subfloor and that was important because my project was a headboard (flooring on top of 3/4" plywood). As I noted in my review of the flooring nailer, two nails did not go all the way in because I did not hit the nailer hard enough. I used a nail punch and carefully drove the nail the rest of the way in. First time using a flooring nailer and these nails but I had no problem with them feeding or shooting. April 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Porta Nailing System The purchase of the Porta Nails was part of a much lager one for the Porta Nailer 421 floor nailer. I found the nailing system very easy to use, virtually problem free and well made. I actually would rate it 4-1/2 stars...the only downfall is the instructions, which I found to be lacking, as if translated from another language and not very usable. If you plan on using this product for business, consider purchasing the full kit with accessory pads and shoes for versatility. I did incur a jam because of a hard board and it tried to kick back, the nailer stopped it. A nice feature...and a bit about the nails themselves...if you do make a mistake, you can easily hand nail in the nail and or bend the nail to break off. A nice system. July 21, 2009
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great online buy If you are looking for 1.5 inch long T shape these are best, don't get the L shape at this size as they get stuck in the gun (special flooring nail gun)...they are not avalible in store but are a great price and quality when buying online, saved my project!!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nails did what they said they would do The porta-nailer and these nails make it easy to install hardwood flooring, without a lot of strain. September 14, 2006
