Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is the perfect fire pit for the cost and for camping trips! It really puts out a lot of heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Solution! We've used this propane fire pit twice now and it works perfectly for our needs. No more loading, unloading buying wood that meets the "no bug, certified" campground requirements. No hassle starting fire, no smoke, no moving chairs with every breeze direction change, can have a campfire during burn bands and it warms your circle of friends with a "campfire", not a "bonfire". You won't be disappointed. One negative is the high price for carry bag or lid- $29.99+ Ship'g equals approximately 1/3 the cost of the pit! We just bought a water heater pan for a cover- works great for keeping rain, debris, etc. out of pit. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely good at its pricepoint With the dry winter we had here in Southern California the fire restrictions have been upped to record levels and just before our annual camping trip we learned that camp fires have been forbidden. However, propane fire pits are still allowed (propane devices with on/off switches) and I quickly ordered this pit and paid an extra $20 for expedited shipping. It arrived in only 3 days and worked perfectly right out of the box. Construction is sturdy and the pit came with an extra bag of decorative rocks. Average usage over the 6 day trip was 5-6hrs per night and we used approx 2/3 of a 20lb tank each night (manuf booklet states 7-10 hrs, which seems about right). The amount of heat was good enough for 6-10 people to sit around and feel comfortable while roasting marshmallows (lows in the 50's). Great portable pit and quite a few friends on the trip asked for details so they could buy one when they got home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it. It was a great value compared to other firepits. I really do love my new firepit. We roasted marshmellows over it the other night and the atmosphere was great. we loved it and I believe we will enjoy it for years to come. I actually used it for a center for a stone firepit inside my pool enclosure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Portable Heininger Grill Problem I would give this product 4 stars if it wasn't for the lava rocks that come along with it. The fire grill is great as far as size and ambiance. The grill doesn't take up a lot of space, however it would be better without an attached propane tank. Constructed well and we love the look. The problem came when we started the fire about 5 minutes into there was a strong VOC chemical odor so strong that it traveled indoor. We just couldn't understand why no one else complained about this problem. So we called the number located on the manual. He suggested taking out the rocks to see if there was some plastic inside. Nope. We have a back patio in a corner with two walls, but even moved it in open air and my family could still smell it. We took out the rocks that came with it and purchased the lava rocks sold by home depot. That fixed the problem. We really like it now that the problem is fixed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great solution for a fire pit. With the incremental cost of building a propane fire pit prohibitive this is a great solution. I used this as the basis for constructing a stone fire pit. It is surrounded by stacked stone and is easily removed for the rainy months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product for the money I purchased this fire bowl about a month ago and we use it almost nightly. I have burned through four 20lb tanks of propane already and I consistently get 7-9 hours of heat and ambiance per tank. The lava rocks do get some soot on them after some use, but I don't notice at all when the fire is lit.
