CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far, so good. Bought this for the single reason that it has a trigger selectable for single-shot nailing. I'm a novice, working with shingles that have a VERY narrow nail line, so I didn't want to bounce nail at all. So far, with around 4 square of shingles nailed (28 square still to go...sigh!), it's working pretty flawlessly. I've had no problems with it jamming; only the occasional miss-fire; and I actually like the way the last nail on a coil drops out of it to let you know you're out of nails. Even the nailing consistency is pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty good. Since I'm only EVER going to be doing the one roof (turn out that roofing is really hard work in summer heat) I didn't need something super expensive, and I don't really care if it holds up in the long-term or not. Just so long as it gets me through this job. October 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by fussy, but good My crew used these all the time. They are lightweight, and shoot the nails in good. They do jam often, but it takes 2 seconds to fix. They are not that durable, but when you use them everyday, what do you expect. Also they do not like bent up coils. But overall these and rigid are my favorite. August 3, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by It's not a value if it doesn't work Out of the box every third nail only partially advanced, bent the head and jamed the piston. I had to get down and get tools to clear the jam. I had an earlier version of this gun and it was fine. Never jamed. I took this new one back. I suspected trouble when I opened the box and noticed it was painted argent to look like aluminum. I tried lubing every moving part but no joy. May 29, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the best I bought two guns for the crew, a ridgid and this at the request of a guy that worked for me that really like it. It's worked so far but it's fussy. We have had quite a few jams that took a while to clear. The ridgid seems to shoot any old nail that goes in it, this gun can't handle the slightest out of shape coil. It went through a phase where it wouldn't reset and advance nails , however with a little tinkering its was fixed. We ran about two boxes of nails through it so far and it seems to be getting better. Possibly just needed to break in? I've never heard of this but if it keeps working like it had lately ill be happy. It does have a nice feel to it, kind of slimmer and feels more solid than a lot of other guns. Anyway, I may have just got a fussy gun that needed a few nails run through it. I've heard good things about these guns but buy with caution, for the price I would have to go for the ridgid in the future. May 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice air gun for the price This roofing nailer works just as good as any I've used. Maybe not quite as good as a Hitachi, but no where near the price either. I've had mine for 3 years and it works like day 1 still. January 16, 2013
