Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Brent Does the job for small jobs, without the weight of a larger compressor
As expected, the recovery rate for such a 1-gal compressor will not support a continuous nailing job such as roofing or framing. However, it's intended purpose is perfect for such projects as installing baseboards, building cabinetry, airing up small tires (large take longer). It's light and easy to carry, quiet and does not vibrate much at all. I tested it with my framing nailer and nailed 10-16p nails in 10 seconds into a 2x4 and every nail set perfectly. The pressure dropped 20psi, but recovered in about 15 seconds. Works for small jobs just fine and framing when you are not in production mode. I like the porter cable name in compressors.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IPMD No Problems after a year, it still works perfectly
I sold my big 80 Gallon vertical speed-air because I'm building a new Garage and will need a Horizontal Air Comp. so in the mean time I bought this to hold me over. It does just what I need, and for added capacity I installed a 2nd coupling & attach a 12 Gallon aluminium portable tank with a coil hose.
So far no problems at all after over a year.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Roxxi Performs adequately
The first run of this compressor, revealed a leak at the regulator. After disassembling the regulator, I found a fair amount of debris embedded in the lubricating grease. After cleaning and re-greasing; there were no more leaks.
The tank-side of the system holds pressure very well; but the hose-side of the regulator bleeds-off the pressure within a few hours. For me, this is okay; since I'm only using it for tires, and surface blow-off.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by toolloser Failed in second hour
I've used mine only occasionally for usual inflating (no tools), enough for the one year warranty to run out, but in its second hour of total use for sure.
I heard some screeching for 30 seconds, then with the motor still running, zero pressure, something gave out.
I think this and others are cheap off-shore models with a fancier name like P-C or Dewalt or any name slapped on.
As with other low end oilless a.c., they are pretty loud for the modest output.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DayOne super quiet, light weight, duable
This is excellent product. Ibis light weight & can fit in legs car space as described. The tool operate very Low noise. I have the other same class/type that also purchased from Home Depot like: Campbell, HDX. Both of these 2 operate very loud and take a longer time to fill the tank.
I have the other type of this brand before Portable Pancake. It has been great. I have been using it for more than 6 years and still good now.
I got this unit since the description says it could fit in car leg space & the price was cheap enough - 74.99 to convince me to get another small unit. This unit usually between 99 - 109. This unit is great for carpentry finish work up to even 1 framing gun.
I m start getting old so don't want to carry heavy tools any more. I am doing residential finishes work and one a while rooms addition.
This is a good tool and worth investment.

So far the compressor is great but I have only had it a short time and have used it to air up tires. I used the Milton M-Style Air Coupler and Plug Set and Coilhose Pneumatics PFE40254T Flexeel Reinforced Polyurethane Air Hose. I also used teflon tape on the connections and have no air leaks. I got this for tire inflation and also to run a small nailer.
