I have owned this finish nailer for a couple months now. I have used it on several projects around the house as well hobby furniture making. This has been an amazing investment. The nailer hasn't jammed even once in well over 600-700 nails. It has handled lots of use and in a short time and hasn't let me down yet. The "no lube" feature is nice too. Super easy to use and operate. Will definitely be buying a Porter Cable brad nailer for some smaller intricate projects coming up.

What I like most about this product is the compact size as compared to other brands. It allows the user to get in tight spaces inorder to complete the task at hand. I found that as long as you oil the nailer according to manufacturer specs and due minor routine cleaning the nailer functions like new every time. I have been using mine for 5 years and never had any problems. I find it perfect to use on base moulding, door and window trim, and just about anything else that requires fastening. A hammer is a thing of the past, this tool cuts down working time by at least 50%.

I bought the Porter cable Compressor combo that came with 3 nail guns about 3 months ago. All guns and compressor work great, this 2-1/2 finish nailer is Awesome and lives up to the Porter cable name.
My Porter cable framing nailer is still going strong after 13 years.
Tip; keep all your air tools oiled, and drain your air compressor before and after every use and your tools will last a long time.
Home Depot is the best, they provide great tools, a great warranty and always have Professional staff to help with your questions and project needs.

was fine for a while but then nail set started failing. my guess would be the nail guide was made out of cheep material causing nail set to get sloppy and slip off. fine for a diy but quite expensive for that. price represents professional tool and quality does not.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jkirk ok for diy, not for pros
i bought this gun 3 years ago as i needed a 16 gauge. unfortunately it requires a high number of nails to break it in. you have to shoot a nail then push the magazine clip forward.. repeat for close to 500 nails. even still the gun would misfire too often for proffesional use or the drive pin would slip off the nail leaving 2 marks on material.. no good for stain grade work.
for pro's id reccomend paslode or Grex nailers
