Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Replaced my deck with this porter cable 3 1/2 clipped head framing nailer and a ryobi 6 gal pancake compressor. The gun never jammed. Drove the nails completely, and never misfired. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great nail gun I had been looking for an excuse to buy a framing nailer for some time and finally justified it for doing some fairly extensive fence repairs after trying the old hammer and nail method in prior years. This nail gun is easy to use and a real time-saver. Can't wait for the next project... July 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for price but LOUD I am a carpenter for a large remodeler and frame probably 30% of year. This gun has been great to me. It does the job and doesn't jam. It has plenty of power as well; I've never had trouble sinking nails and the depth adjustment is straightforward and tooless. Some minor issues I've had with it: The lock is very close to the trigger so people who borrow the gun often lock it accidentally. This gun is LOUD. Plan to wear headphones if you want to keep your hearing. January 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works fine Comfortable to hold and has standard features you would expect. January 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Performs well, great value I used this nailer to re-nail all my deck boards and to repair some of the structure. It performs well. The price was great on a Home Depot special deal of the day. Only concern is there seems to be a limited variety of nails available that are for a 30 degree nailer. HD sells Paslode nails for around $59 a box of 2500 nails. I used 3-1/2 inch long .120 inch diameter ring shank galvanized nails for nailing 2x structure and 2-3/8 inch long.103 inch diameter ring shank galvanized nails for the 5/4 deck boards. HD also sells similar size nails with bright finish. The local Lowes does not sell 30 degree nails. September 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Porter-cable I bought this nailer but was not told the are able to be used in our area. If you have be have your work inspected it will no pass. Should have been told when I bought it I would not have bought it. December 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Nailer But No carrying case. This is a good nailer for the money. But I'm disappointed that no carrying case to protect in came with it. And Home Depot doesn't sell one for it either. The nailer has a plastic magazine rail that will surely be damaged and bent from other tools leaning against it. Putting this nailer in the Gang "tool box" without a case will definitely get damaged banging around with other tools. Missing Accessories also September 22, 2015
