Rated 5 out of 5Â by sal38 Awesome Air Compressor!!! 1000% better than older models!!
this is my second porter cable compressor. the first was nice, but this one has improvements in all the areas it needed. the carrying handle is more ergonomic than previous model. easy to carry around the house. another nice feature is the cord management system on the side. no more wrapping the power cord around various parts of the compressor. it is nice to have a dedicated "bracket" to wrap the power cord. also the two different quick couplers are nice!

This is a well designed air compressor. It's compact and easy to carry. This compressor is ideal for use with nail guns. If you're looking for something to power your air tools then you're going to want to keep looking.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MikeyLikesIt Great Compact -Gal. 150 psi Oil-Free Pancake Compressor
I need a compact compressor to do small job with my nailing guns. My other was only rated at 100 PSI, did work well with the framing nailer. The pressure would drop below 80 psi, so it wouldn't nail the nail all the way. This on comes on when the pressure drops below 125 psi. The framing nailer work perfect. I like the fact it has two quick disconnect so you can have two hose connecting to the compressor. One nice feature is that there a place to wrap the electrical cord so it not just loose and no place to wrap it. Reading the review there seems a lot issue with the pressure switch. Everything work great right out of the box. Hopefully PC fixed the issue with Pressure switch. One issue or concern is the rubber flex hose from the compressor unit to the tank get very hot, not sure how the rubber hose will hold up after months of use. Time will tell. So far I'm very happy with the unit.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by MikeinBiddeford WAY TOO LOUD!!!!!
I needed a compressor in a hurry and this one looked like the best in the lot that they had at Home Depot. Porter Cable has made some great, long lasting tools, so I figured it was going to be a good deal.
I don't like it. It runs too long. I can't turn the hi limit pressure down. (You can't either) It won't hold air overnight, but most of all, IT IS WAY TOO LOUD!!! I mean, wake the dead loud. I mean, I doubt they could make it any louder if they tried! I have a db meter on my iPhone and this thing clocks in at 101 db. A table saw is 105!
I bought a different brand compressor that runs at 65db, so the Porter Cable will be on Craig's list soon.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by WeekendWoodworker Great air compressor
Great compressor! The carrying handle is very convenient and I didn't realize that it also had 2 quick connects to operate more than one tool at a time.
