Will this run run two finish nailers at same time

Yes it will, It has two ports to plug two lines, however you only get one hose so you need to buy an extra hose no need in buying a splitter.

Can this compressor be used with a framing nailer and a roofing nailer?

I would also like to add a framing nailer and a roofing nailer is this compressor robust enough to do these jobs as well?
Asked by: Dickster
I replaced my entire roof... trusses and all as well as built a 16x20 front deck porch, with one of these. Sometimes using 2 shingle guns... or 1 shingle gun and my porter cable gun framing gun at the same time and it did the job fine you just can't fly doing it, but if you use them at a comfortable pace it will do the job. I've been it the trades for over 30 years and this is the most dependable pancake compressor I've ever owned. Mine is about 5 years old now (I'm a trim carpenter/framer occasionally) and still goes to work everyday with me.

I have five bedrooms and a dining room in which to lay hardwood and I needed a good nailer/compressor combo that wouldn't break the bank. My wife picked this up for me for Christmas and I've been nothing but happy. Everything you need to get started is in the box...with one exception...air tool oil. Why they didn't throw in a small bottle of air tool oil is beyond me. Make sure you pick that up and you're good to go. There are even sample fasteners in the box. I've had the compressor off and unplugged for a couple of weeks now (in-between rooms) and it hasn't lost more than 1-2 lb of pressure...very impressive! It has more than enough power and has worked great with the included finish nailer (only one I've tried so far).

It is an excellent working tool, buy this combo to make a wooden ceiling and was fantastic, super fast without using hammers or nail pain, and my wife can help me easily :). It has 2 pistols and a stapler, I use the 3 and I speed up the work. In addition the compressor has an extra amount of tools to adapt. I already buy it an inflator kit and a paint kit.

The tank is very portable and what a collection of attachments. My wife moves around with the tank with easy. I would always talk myself out of having this type of equipment; it always seemed lazy and not worth the price. This item eliminated all these factors and now I can't live without it. I strongly recommend.

Super useful and too good a deal to pass up, so I bought it and I am glad I did. I could not resist buying this combo kit because the price was too good to pass. I was in need of a new compressor and compared to my 10 plus year old pancake compressor this Porter-Cable is light as a feather and quiet compared to my old one. I also like the dual pressure gauges. One for the tank, one for the tool pressure. I will use the 16 gauge finish nail gun for most of my work but the other gun and stapler will come in handy for certain projects. I have used them all and they work great. I have installed trim in four rooms, doors, windows, and floor mold trim and the guns have not jammed once. I think this was a great purchase and recommend it for any professional or homeowner. The included air hose is a good multi use length but I was bummed that the kit no longer includes the gun belt hanger that is shown in all the ads and images. Can't complain about that for only $199.00.

Compressor is loud while it's building up pressure, but then auto shuts off once it hits its peak (few minutes). Unit uses a 3 prong plug, so be aware of that if working in an older house having only non-grounded two prong outlets. For light jobs, you can simply unplug the fully pressurized unit and move it from room to room without having to plug it in again. Otherwise, the long hose is great for a focused job within a single room. Finish nailer worked perfectly for baseboards. Brad nailer did a great job for face nailing 1/2" hardwood floor slats. Stapler was a breeze for faced insulation rolls. Also used the stapler for hanging Christmas lights over the garage. Nailers are a bit heavy, but feel solid. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, so can't speak to durability, yet. Excellent value for the money.

The instruction manuals could be better, more clearly written, however if you google the model numbers, there is ample information and demonstrations on line. As to the operation of the equipment, I have only used the 16 gauge nail gun and air compressor, but I have found them to be extremely easy to use. The package was well worth the money.

All my nailing is perfect and it saved me so much time. The compressor is easy to use and its portability is great. I would recommend this to any person looking to do wood work. Excellent rating.

The 18 Gauge Nailer does have a tendency to jam if used for extended periods. I found that a little WD40 sprayed on the sliding mechanism (open front hatch and spray near area where the nailer push bar enters to piston chamber) helps.
