In 20 years of residential construct this is my 3rd DA250. I got over 10 years out of my first one and about 9 years out of the last one and neither of them ever went into the shop for repairs. I've shot in countless miles of base, door casing, window wraps and crown molding with these guns. When my last one final wore out, I didn't even look at any other brands, I just bought another Porter Cable. These guns have a nice balance, the weight is not to bad and the depth adjustment is quick and easy. This one will probably out last the rest of my career as a finish carpenter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hank Great value at a reasonable price.
I was originally looking at the Hitachi 15 ga. finish nailer. While doing some comparisons I came across this nailer on an internet special on the HD website for $99. I was a bit hesitent at first but took a chance and bought it. On the first use I fell in love with this tool. Used it on finishing rows of 3/4 Brazilian Cherry flooring, and for nailing baseboard. It performed flawlessly on both tasks. Even at $159, I still feel it would be a good value compared to some of the other guns I've used.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by savydavy Great price. Great nailer.
This came on sale just when I needed it for a soffit project. There are differences from the other DA250 nailers that account for the price difference. From what I can tell, this one has a plastic magazine vs. metal. Don't know about other differences (i.e. piston mechanism?), but it should be fine for residential uses, and even commercial uses if you don't abuse it. Other PC nailers I own have also been great.

Just received this a few days ago. Seems really well made and comes with 1000 nails and oil. No case but at a price of $89 including shipping you can't beat the deal. If you watch, you can get some great deals. Look forward to getting it to work. My compressor is being used by my son in law. Will try it this weekend and report back.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tstan Jamb release needed often
Dont buy this Gun. It jambs too much. Very frustrating. Even with porter cable nails. It sparks with senco nails.
I will be returning it. The Ridgid is good, although the driver on mine is worn out after 2.5 yrs. It is a better gun though, for the money, get the ridgid.

Light weight easy to use and a real time saver! No surprises unlike some other tools I've purchased in the past with other retailers, where I had to go back to the store to purchase needed attachments not included in box.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by toolman Porter Cable 15 ga angled nail gun
Price was outstanding. Purchased to do crown molding. Have a Brad nailer and a framing nail gun. Have not used the finish nail gun yet. In general Porter Cable makes excellent products and a finish nailer is a handy tool to have. Especially at the right price.
