Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stain The PR621 is a Snow Beast
I was able to effectively clear 8 inches of wet snow off my 40ft driveway in half the time of my neighbors! I've used a comparable snow thrower of a different brand in the past and it would easily get bogged down in similar conditions. Not the PR621! Considering the size of the unit, you are getting a ton of power. You really wouldn't expect a unit of its size to have that much power, but it does.
I have recommended this unit to family and friends, and would recommend it for any homeowner in a typical residential neighborhood.

We were blessed with 30" of snow this weekend and used this little monster to help dig us out. Although the height of snow was too much, we used a shovel to pull down the snow into a managable height and the Poulon did a magnificent job of blowing it away. It was light enough for us to carry up to our 2nd story deck and cleared off in about 30 minutes. Our only challenge was that we've had to replace 2 sets of bolts because they came loose and were lost. We replaced with non-standard parts as an interim solution.

I am really disgusted with this product. It does not throw snow very well. I bought it new last last year used it three or four times and the scrapper is wore out turns out you cant buy a new one since the part is discontinued. It is very hard to start when it is cold, after its been warmed up it isn't to bad to start. I've had to replace several bolt that have fallen out. replaced the belt twice. this thing maneuvers like it has bricks for wheels.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fred Why did I wait so long?
Bought this at the end of October. Went together easy and started up on the 2nd pull of the cord. Rather than write a review without any practical experience, I waited. Got home from a trip last night to find 4-5 inches of new, wet snow. Got out the new snow blower and went to work. Again, it started right up. I have a small driveway. Had the driveway, the front walks and 5 of the neighbors sidewalks done in under 20 minutes. This thing worked great. It was fun to see how far I could shoot the snow. Now I need more snow.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MikeinNKC Works fine in less than a foot of snow
Easy to assemble and starts instantly. Used it after two snowstorms this last winter. If you get less than a foot of snow, it cuts through it with no problem. More than a foot or so, or if you tend to get drifts in your driveway, you'll expend quite a bit of effort pushing the unit into the snow. I like this snow blower, but if I had to do it over again, I'd spend the extra bucks to get a two-stage self propelled model. Still, I'd recommend this since it's a thousand percent better than a snow shovel!

I bought this blower last year and used it twice. This year we had a lot more snow. The unit starts up and runs great, but the third time I used it this year it was really hard to push and it was leaving black marks all over my concrete. I looked underneath and the scraper that keeps the auger off the ground was wore out already.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greg Worked great first snow fall
I got the snow blower in early Oct. 2011. The blowers initial setup was easy, and fired up on the first pull. We got an unexpected snow on Oct. 29, 2011. I got the snow blower out, primed t and it started on the first pull. It took several minutes to get the hang of how to use it, but after that it worked great. Because the ground was not frozen yet, I did end up tearing out some areas of grass when I left the sidewalk path. I would recommend the product to my friends.

this unit was easy to set up,and get operating........it does what it is supposed to do ....perks along and throws snow...it was barely taxed munching through 10 inches of packed snow in a driveway that had'nt been cleared since december........overall an enjoyable peace of outdoor equipment.
