Hi Marija,

I assume from your statement that the engine is operating, but the auger is not.
If there were an obstruction that is preventing the auger from turning, it seems to me that the engine would bog down when the auger was engaged. If there is no change in the engine speed when the auger drive is initiated, the belt might be dislocated.
The auger is belt driven and the belt may have broken or might have come off of its pulley. Refer to the owner's manual on page 15 for instructions to service the belt.

What type of fuel does this take?

I have a smaller snow thrower that accepts only TruFuel, which can be quite expensive after a while and using regular unleaded fuel causes damage to the carburetor. I don't want to have to spend that kind of money on a small can of TruFuel for a heavy duty snow thrower like this one. Does the PR305ES take regular unleaded or is TruFuel required? Thanks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Poulan Pro - The Beast in the Snow Excellent machine, first pull start, turns well, throws snow over 50 feet. Great price from Home Depot. I bought the identical blower 12 years ago that is still working well today. February 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Seems very solid. Handles deep snow very well. The briggs engine runs much nicer than my old tecumseh. I like the way it stays idled down until you start to get into snow. Much quieter than my old blower with Tecumseh. so far very pleased. January 21, 2015
