Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for high places, but hang on! This product was priceless for cleaning siding in an area where a ladder was totally impractical and hazardous. Coupled with a 45/90° nozzle adapter, it made short work of cleaning siding that was above the second floor. I highly recommend the nozzle adapter to avoid spraying up underneath siding, shake, etc., as it provides a more perpendicular angle to the wall. As stated above, HANG ON and make certain of your footing! With a 2,800 PSI washer and working at or near fully extended, it's a handful. (I'm 6'2, 225# and it was about all I could control at full extension.) All in all, it's a time and money saver and it collapses down to an easily-stored length. April 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easier and safer than climbing a ladder This ia a very well built item. I had looked for an extension for my pressure washer but never found anything. I found this telescoping extension at Home Depot, and then talked to a neighbor who had one and he gave a glowing report on how well he liked his. I love this extension as I can wash my house and never set foot on a ladder. The only negative I can find is the locking nuts are plastic, albeit heavy duty plastic. I would bet that this would hold up to commercial use. May 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Like the aluminum wand, more lite weight than fiberglass Very versatile, use it slightly extended, or fully extended, works very well. I would recommend using the purchased soap head attachment for long reaches, you can cover a larger area faster, and take a break while waiting on the soap to penetrate, usually 5-10 min. This will give you a short time to change out your soap tip to your hi pressure tip. The wand works very well, and is worth the money. October 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It is a little heavy, but is manageable Yes, this telescoping wand is a little heavy. I knew that when I lifted up the box. However, it is lighter than the more "industrial" one I bought elsewhere which has made the jobs I have to do around my house substantially easier. I am a 53 year old, somewhat overweight and out of shape grandmother and I could handle it. I, too, had to switch arms several times during the course of cleaning the rain gutters, but it sure beats having to purchase and then climb a longer ladder than what we have. Up and down, up and down is a lot harder on this old lady than strong-arming a pressurized pole. This is the one item that has made it possible for me to do all the gutters, instead of having to get someone else to do the ones in the back of my home. July 10, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for contractors After use the padded handle area starts to slip and moves out of place. When wet the adjustment areas are locked and with the smooth finish on the fiberglass shaft it is hard to break loose the plastic adjuster points to move in are out. After some use the tip rusted at the point where the rubber pressure hose screws onto the tip. Had to go the machine shop and have a piece fabricated. June 1, 2014
