Customer Questions & Answers

I just mixed this with 2.5gallons and i belive it = out to 40:1 please correct me if im wrong.

Asked by: bill
It should be 8oz of oil to 2.5 gallons to = 40:1 ratio. 320oz of E10 Gas is 2.5 gallons, so it would be 320/40 = 8oz If you mixed this bottle which is 6.4oz your mix would then be 50:1 ratio. 40:1 is a richer oil to gas mix, therefore you need MORE oil to be added to the 2.5 gallons of gas, which in your case, a 40:1 ratio would require 8oz of oil to 2.5 gallons of gas.

can this be a 50:1 mix

can this be a 50:1 mix
Asked by: charles
2.5 gallons equals 320 oz. This oil holds 6.5 oz. 6.5 divided into 320 equals 49.23.. So the ratio is just under 50:1.

Is this the 40:1 ratio?

Asked by: Dirtbikerider
No, you need 3.2oz of this 50:1 oil added to one gallon of E10 gas to to make one gallon of 40:1 mix.
