Tool was easy to use and following the instruction were not difficult. It made cutting down a live 14 inch tree and slice up into smaller manageable pieces. Plus saved on chain bar oil too.

Works awesome and as described. Would have given it 5 stars if it the metal guide was made a little better metal (no problems just seems a little cheap). My old chain I used a power rotary sharpener and it would heat the chain up and take too much out. Spent about 10 minutes and got nice new sharpness to each link. Will use on the saws I rebuild and after each tank of gas to keep my saw working in optimal conditions.

Almost all you need to sharpen any chainsaw. Portable, stores easily. Documentation could use a bigger drawing of cutting direction, and the guide could be inscribed with a little ruler to help judge which saw tooth was the shortest.

The kit includes almost everything I need to sharpen a saw chain. I think two file handles should be included, since both a round and flat file are required to sharpen a saw chain. The files, depth gauge, and file guide are all great quality. But the canvas tote needs some work. The tote should fit a fully assembled file, guide, and handle. It only fits the unassembled components right now.
