Not sure why we waited so long to get a snowblower :/ This 2 stage is a great machine! Assembly instructions are easy, starts right up, runs great! Keep in mind that if the snow nears 24 inches you will have to make a couple passes. It is fun to use, so this is not an issue for us. We did not have any assembly problems or missing parts as other reviewers stated. We did purchase extended warrenty through The Home Depot due to the seasonal use and it would sit for 8 months between winters.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BlackBear A whole lot of power and built like a tank.
Don't let the size fool you. This little Snow Thrower packs a huge 208cc punch and kicks snow well over 30 feet.
Starts on the first pull and is easy to use. I added a picture of my 5'1" tall Wife using the PowerSmart in 8 inches of snow. She has never used a snow thrower/blower and found this a breeze to work with. She was having so much fun I was afraid she wouldn't give it back to me.
Self-propelled worked incredibly well on the unpaved driveway of 100 feet and on top of the snow packed grass. The 13" tires handled the rough terrain with no problem.
I would like to thank Home Depot's Customer Service Staff for having it assembled for me free of charge since I had to come back the next day with a different truck due to car problems.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Snowman Multiple Issue with the unit
1. Upon received the unit, all the bolts and nuts for the upper handle is missing.
Probably work it self loose during shipping.
A quick response and replacement from the manufacture solve the problem.
2. Here is the big problem... First time use the snow blower after the North Easter in the New York area.....
Half way thru clearing the 20" of snow, the auger stop working.
Upon close inspection, the auger belt has been stretch to a point it just won't provide any tension at
all. I don't believe I use it too hard... It proper has the wrong size belt or wasn't adjusted properly
from the factory.
I just emailed the service department and let see how quickly they will response this time.

Easy to order, shipped quickly, great help from the store in getting blower and helping to put into car. Got the blower home and went to assemble Missing bolts for handle, had to fine one in my shop to fix complete the assembly. Went to use it and the shift cable was not set properly. I had to disassemble to adjust, still not right, had to take apart and readjust again. The electric start worked great and started right away. Drive "sticks", the handle does not release to the neutral position. Not what I expected for this kind of money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GMan78 Works Even Better than Advertised
It arrived and was very easy to assemble - took all of 15 minutes. It is as easy to use as a walk behind self-propelled lawn mower. Super easy to start both with the electronic start as well as the pull cord. Did an awesome job of removing 8+ inches of snow!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cleverroos Excellent machine
Received the package and noted it was well packed and mostly assembled. I finished up the assembly and had it running in less than 30 minutes. A recent snowstorm afforded the opportunity to use it. Did fine with light snow but the wetter components didn't get thrown far. Not a serious problem as that was picked up on future passes as necessary. Adjusting the output helped a lot. Easy to operate and the self drive worked well. It simplified the job and I put in 90% less effort vs shoveling.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MiataBill Mighty for it's size!
.....This is a smaller snowblower, but it will do a great job on deeper snow. We had a 24" snowfall, and it cleared it very well. Because of it's smaller width and height, I had to break down the deepest snow, but it cleared the snow away very well.
..... My only caution is before you use it, remove the black plastic cover over the belts right in front of the motor, and behind the blower, You will find 2 belts. One drives the wheels, and the other drives the auger and impeller to clear the snow. MAKE SURE the idler pulleys are pushing against the belts in a parallel manner. In other words make sure the idler pulleys are pushing the belts correctly into the drive pulleys, not at an angle. The belts get worn out quickly if not adjusted properly.
..... Otherwise this is a powerful little machine that does a bigger machine's job. I love the electric start too.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ron So sorry, history repeated itself with the drive belt flying off. It did not have a tension spring on the tension roller.
It appeared that the assembly was incomplete resulting in the drive belt flying off. The bearings were on the wrong side of the retainer plate, the bolt was loose and there was not a tension spring on the belt idler roller. Sorry, The electric starter was great as is the engine; what a shame. Home Depot accepted the return graciously and unloaded the snow blower for me.
