Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jose LED Lighting is the Way To Go!! Great Light!
I have numerous halogen work lights and am tired of all the inherent problems with them, such as bulbs burning out, having to go to the store constantly, heat buildup and they are downright dangerous for my kids to be around me when I am working.
I was told this was a good brand and so I bought this PowerSmith LED Tripod work light. I am extremely pleased! It works great, is Really Bright and the tripod is stable and adjustable. My kids can now help me in the garage or when I am doing projects and even if it is knocked over - the light will never burn out!
Overall the cost will be lower than what I've been paying for my halogen light problem. It's time to move to the future and not be stuck in the Past.
I like the white light this produces and seems like daylight in a dark room. Next to a halogen or incandescent light bulb - this color is far better.
I recommend the PowerSmith 40-WATT (3000 LUMENS) LED DUAL-HEAD WORK LIGHT WITH TRIPOD and 40 watts is more than enough light for almost very job that needs to be done.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SethEden Excellent! Exactly what I needed and wanted!
This is an excellent product! I purchased 2 of these and after unboxing and assembly, it was obvious that one of the stands was a little wobbly. Tried to disassemble and reassemble, but still wobbly. The other one was perfect and solid. They work perfect and love that it doesn't generate heat! Low power draw means I can plug them into the inverter on my truck and setup a mobile worksite anywhere!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by den5000 Great product, but got some issues
This LED lights one of the most properly built on market. It got individual switches for each lamp (some other lights doesn't have switch at all). Also it got good 10 ft cable (other lights have 6 only). Tripod is sturdy enough. The product problem that connector between lights and tripod made from plastic. Mine broke in a first day of using lights. I contact company and ask to send me it small plastic piece - they send me new tripod, but I have to wait month.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by honda decent product. could use a few tweaks
i am using these lights for video lighting. the construction of this product is pretty sturdy. i like the fact that the light is daylight. seems right around 5000k. they are very bright - much more so than some photography led lights at 4 or 5 times the price that i have tested.
pros: unlike most led light panels, this produces light from a single source, so it is possible to cast a hard edged shadow. i can dut the light in half with a simple switch. i can put a lighting umbrella in front of it without too much trouble. i added 'wings' on the side so i can clip gels on them quickly. i am mounting the support bar to a light stand without much trouble. works great. both the light heads are very compact and light weight.
cons: no barn doors, but i might be able to rig something. the on/off switches seem to be a little tricky. i click it, and they don't come on. i press and hold: nothing. press again, light! odd.. haven't figured out what the scoop really is. i wish the cross bar didn't have lateral stabilizers for setting the light head on the floor, but these are work lights, not video. also wish i could wire these lights up separately at a distance from each other, but they are essentially tethered with a 'v' connector to about 2' max separation. i might work on separating them from each other so i can use them from independant locations on set.
oh. and they are *green* yuck. think i might paint them. not sure.
would definitely recommend these lights for work, video, whatever.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Syjorydan GREAT light, versatile, lightweight.
Easy to move, position, adjust. SO nice not to worry about burning myself as with old-style halogen light fixtures. Well worth the price!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by shawng10940 Cheaply made junk
Ordered this light over a month ago still havent been able to really use it since it came with the tripod broken. I contacted the company about the part they said ill receive it in 7 to 10 business days its almost 30 days later and still no part. I called back they said part was back ordered to me it means that this part breaks on all of the lights. Seems cheaply made I dont reccommend if you need this light for work tripod is too cheaply made.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sparrow Perfect white light and cool to the touch lens and housing
Bought this light after careful review of several other brands and models. Wanted a versatile light to be used to light up the work area whether in large spaces or small. Liked the option of using one light or both as each turned on separately. Also, each light can be adjusted slightly in a vertical direction of up or down depending on lighting preference. Light bar is detachable to use on the ground or in a confined space such as an attic as I needed for plumbing and electrical work. Tripod is sturdy and light can be raised to good working height. I used the light with one head light slightly pointed up and the other down, and had the entire room lighted with no dark spots. Also, the light bar can be spun around on the tripod with ease if needed to light up a back portion work area when you move to a different area. This combo light emits a brilliant true white light while maintaining a cool surface on the lens and housing. Used this to work in a small bathrooom remodel where dust, drywall texture and paint fell onto the lens of the dual head work lights. No worry about cleaning the lens. Just wipe with hand or rag and lens was clean. Even used a damp cloth to wipe dried paint splatter off lens while still lighted! No need for a lens guard as light and housing never heats up because of the LED burns cooler. Only concern is that the upper connecting pole on the tripod seems a little wobbly and does not tighten down completely. Overall, for an occasional DIYer it delivered what I needed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Foresee PowerSmith LED Dual-head work lights (3000 Lumens)
The lights are very bright and not warm at all when touching the lens. Like some others have said, the tripod is a little delicate, but works for me. The height adjustments, from no tripod to mounted on the tripod at the highest elevated level gives me a very good range of coverage.
