Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does what it's supposed to do... Installation was a breeze. The unit is fairly compact and can be located just about anywhere. It allows for horizontal or vertical mounting. This was purchased to supply hot water to 2 small back-to-back sinks. The hot water it produces is barely hot. It's good enough for its intended use, but you can't expect it to supply sufficient hot water to a shower, washing machine or dishwasher. You'll need to look at higher output models for those types of applications. Plus, if both sinks are turned on at once, flow is cut in half. Knowing what I know now, I would not recommend this unit, as it just does not produce enough hot water. May 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product works wonderful and is worth every penny. We purchased this on demand water heater for our shop. It is used for washing machine and produces enough water to complete an extra large load. I have owned about 3 months and have no compliants. September 7, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My opinion! This is a good water heater, my only complaint would be: there is only a low or high heat setting, they really need a medium setting. With low you take a slightly warm shower, and with high you feel like your getting 3rd degree burn. May 22, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Restricted Put this in for a sink in my shop, there is 100psi going in the heater and about 1psi coming out. It definitely makes the water hot but there is no pressure what so ever. I thought it was clogged somehow but it is actually restricted internally to a 1/8". If it had more flow it would be great as it heats the amount of water coming out great. Enough so that you could have more flow and it would probably still be scolding hot. Disappointed that I couldn't adjust to get more pressure out. Took it back and am looking for a different heater now. It is the ae7.2 that I had April 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by compact easily installed under a sink Works great at a low G.P.M. rate. Hot water is almost instant. February 28, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Under the Office Sink We have a 3 person small office that didn't have Hot Water. We had our handy man install and we love it! We didn't know how much we missed having hot water. Our office was built in the 70's. Old plumbing, old electric, but it wasn't too difficult to install. Took about 1.5 hours including running electricity to the breaker box. The hot water gets hot just ask quick as any water heater, maybe faster. Very pleased. May 22, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by less than satisfied The main problem that I had with this unit was the reduction of water pressure after the water had been heated. After recieving no help from the company technical asst. telephone representative, I would not recommend the purchase of this product. May 8, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. After professional installation, we had to reset the internal circuit breaker after every few uses. Then it would just stop working altogether. Then start working again. When it did work the temperature was totally inconsistent no matter how much we varied the temperature setting and flow rates. We called Bosh and were told to contact their local service representative. He came out but told us he only worked on gas heaters. Bosh's warranty required us to pay for an electrician to come out. But now, on top of everything else, the unit leaks. JUNK! Don't waste your money! May 21, 2014
