Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wasn't big enough I would recommend this to any one, but make sure that what ever you are trying to run, runs on less then 30 amps. My AC runs on 39 amps and had to return it. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerful generator This is a great product. This generator can handle lots of power. Being in construction Ihave hooked up a lot of power equipment to it and it has performed flawlessly. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerstroke Generator Purchased the generator on line and had it delivered to my local Home Depot which was free freight. Great program. When the customer service person brought the generator out from the back room the box was basically trash. He said that once I got the generator home and finished the assembly if there was something that got broken during shipping to bring it back and Home Depot would replace it. The assembly when very smoothly, nothing was broken. After attaching the battery cables to the battery and putting gas in the gas tank the generator started on the first try. Could not be more pleased. Bring on the next power outage, I am ready! December 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dissappointedd Bought this generator for the Honda engine. Then I found out Honda made in Thailand. Started and ran until under a load. Took to the authorized repair shop, carburetor bad. Honda won't cover it because it's not their generator, Powerstroke won't cover it because it's a engine problem. So I returned it to Home Depot, showed them receipt from repair shop needs carburetor, they ran it , smelled gas etc, etc finally seemed convinced it wasn't running right. Their computer system seemed unable to do anything other than give me a store credit. I don't need a store credit I need a generator. Finally got them to recommend what they sell the most without promblems. A Rigid 6800W with a Yamaha engine. January 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by disappointed After 100 hours run time. Weld holding exhaust together has broken. We've only had this gen for one week. November 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good generator The assembly took about 30 minutes. Nothing to it. I had the generator delivered to my home. And that delivery was not free. ($50 ) If delivered to my nearest store, it is free, but then the pallet & box have to be handled to get it home, and the generator is pretty heavy. It fired up the first try, and was quite a bit louder that I expected, but was a little quieter than my old generator that dropped a rod ( Tecumseh motor). I am impressed with the overall quality, and glad I have the Honda motor. I like the solid rubber tires. No flats ever! Flat tires on a heavy generator causes it to be very difficult to move. I'll use the new generator for lights, two freezers, a refrigerator, and also to keep our deep water well pumped up in case of an outage. Add in a couple of fans in the house, and it will easily handle all of them. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Honda engine a plus. ship to home home depot will charge $50. Pickup at store free very good customer service. The assembly took about 30 minutes. Great generator Has the Honda motor The generator is pretty heavy. put gas and oil It fired up the first try let it run for 15 minutes. Then test turn on all the power make sure every thing work it's excellent. Ready for winter The electric start is awesome. Was surprised to find out that it didn't have Auto-idle ON/OFF. Nothing negative to say. I highly recommend. September 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing Power and Reliability Bought to replace a smaller generator so more of the house could have power in an outage. Assembly was simple, filled oil and gas and ran for ten minutes. It started instantly and ran smooth. Two days later a substation had a fire and the generator was forced into use. We were out for 41 hours and it ran perfectly. Within two days another outage and another 12 hours on generator. I am totally happy with this product. The only thing I feel it lacks is a fuel gage. It does, however, use less fuel than the specs say it burns. I filled every 12 hours with about six gallons. July 28, 2015
