PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The one floor jack that easily lifts cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs. The Powerbuilt Triple Lift jack slashes the expense and hassle of purchasing, maintaining and storing multiple jacks and jack stands. It is the one jack that easily lifts almost anything with wheels, and works on vehicle transmissions and differentials too. The secret to the Triple Lift is the patented design that features both a removable lift saddle and padded lift rails. This flexible design allows the Triple Lift to adapt to multiple types of vehicle frames. A locking safety bar holds the jack in place once the vehicle is raised, which eliminates the hassle of supporting a lifted vehicle with jack stands. Lift Range: 5-1/2 in. to 17-1/2 in.

Can someone please tell me how many inches clearance I would need to store this thing? I live in a small NYC apartment and we don't have much storage space.
Thanks!

Answer:
About 6" height, but in an apartment you'll probably want a plastic mat under it in case the oil leaks, and to keep the wheels off carpeting, and the handle length has to be factored for as well.
Frankly it's a bit much for storage in an apartment, if you aren't allowed to be working on a vehicle on the street or in open parking which is usually the case. I think I'd just opt for a smaller bottle jack Read More

Frankly it's a bit much for storage in an apartment, if you aren't allowed to be working on a vehicle on the street or in open parking which is usually the case. I think I'd just opt for a smaller bottle jack and keep it in the car trunk, or a barely high enough capacity std floor jack in the trunk, not this extra wide sized jack as it's just contrary to space-savings. CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what we needed for our race team, Racing Analytics. Other jacks would only last for 1 season. Using light weight aluminum were handy because of the weight factor, but would not last, and the repair kits cost close to the cost of jack when new. The use of the jack despite its weight, has lasted longer than 3 previous light weight jacks. Another words, like it, and proved its worth. March 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JUNK JACK!!!! NO WARRANTY Stopped raising, handle locked in place. Manufacture will not back up warranty!!!! Be warned...... JUNK Very rude (crewline) customer service....Call them for yourself 1-800-423-3598 December 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerbuilt Triplr Lift Floor Jack Love it! East to use, great stability, and rolls well. Easy to manouver January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good universal jack for the shop I used this for removing a transmission so I could replace the clutch in a 1995 ford ranger it worked very well. It came in handy for removing a gas tank so I could install a fuel pump I just removed the jacks top metal part and had me a nice big rubber platform it worked great on the newer plastic tank and I know it would be just the thing for the older metal tanks.. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice jack that will be my go to jack. The jack is good providing excellent width that gives it stability when lifting. August 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by floor jack also great for dropping trans great for dropping a transmission very sturdy this is more then i expected June 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not a bad jack This jack is a little hard to use when you are in a tight location due to the width. The bulk of the weight still needs to be on the center pad of the jack. other than that it works well and mechanically has had no problems. I gave it 4 stars due to not being able to jack up a vehicle right next to the tire. May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great jack What a great jack. Used it first day it was delivered. Easy setup. Took about 1 min. Had a motorcycle on it for days and it never lost hydraulic pressure. A must have item. April 21, 2015
