Answer:
A single full tank of 4-gallon can last up to 12-hours provided with half load capacity. A lesser load means longer run time while a heavier load provides shorter period of time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Power at it's finest hour I absolutely love my 4000 watt generator. Out of the box and about 15 minutes to setup. First pull it started and ran well. It is quite compared to many other generators of this size. It also runs for 12 hours per tank. If you catch this item on sale like I did, you can't go wrong. Just remember ground your generator before use. 6 ft of copper from Home Depot only runs about 5 bucks. Grab some rebar or a grounding rod as well too, and you would be set. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Small oil leak but great Generator for the price Starts right up when you choke it. I thought it was a little noisy but it is the first generator I have ever owned so what do I know. It is Quieter than my lawnmower. I used it to run my whole house heater(1900sq foot house), as well as back feeding a circuit that runs my fridge, kitchen lights, garage door opener, garage lights and a mini fridge in the garage all at the same time and it handles it like a champ.. I only gave it 4 stars because it did have a small oil leak coming from the valve cover. Took the valve cover off ( 4 bolts ) and the gasket was not centered properly causing the leak. Called Powerland and gave them the p/n from the manual and they shipped me a new gasket under warranty. Easy enough repair and I did not want to hassle with taking it to a authorized vendor. Powerland did not seem to care that I was going to work on it.. Like the fuel gage and metal fuel tank. January 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE This is a piece of garbage. Be prepared to put more money into it even before it is really ever used. DO NOT BUY! February 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Faulty Petcock Valve My brand new generator wouldn't start because it was shipped with a faulty petcock valve. I was pretty disgusted as I was left without power or heat during the first power outage of the season. It's a cheap generator, bottoms line, and all of its components are cheap as result of its low price point. When I primed the carb manually it did fire right up though so it will probably be a decent unit once I get the petcock valve fixed. Still, what a hassle to have to repair a brand new unit before you've even used it. December 25, 2015
