Rated 4 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome generator I received this generator in plenty of time for my camping trip. It was easier to set up than I thought it would be. It was easy starting, and a snap to switch from propane to gasoline when I ran out, over the 4th of July, and no where to get my 40 lb. bottle filled. I just went down the road about a mile and bought a can of gas, poured it in, and started with no problems. I would recommend this item to anyone in need of a generator. Very satisfied customer. Rated 2 out of 5 by Deplorable fuel economy ratings. This is not so much a review as a commentary on the stated efficiency of this generator. 10 hours on 7 gallons at half load (2750 watts)? That's insane! I have a 3500 watt gasoline generator that will run about 11.5 hours on a tank (3.8 gal.) at half load. At 2750 watts it will run about 9 hours on a tank, or about 16.5 hours on 7 gallons. This is assuming we're talking apples to apples, and that the efficiency numbers provided for this generator are while running on gasoline. While running on LP or NG these numbers will be even worse! I don't know about anyone else, but at today's fuel prices a reduction in efficiency by nearly 50% just doesn't make a lot of sense to me, no matter how you dress it up. November 3, 2013
