It's been setting for 3 years and hhas 1 hr on it. I'm going to run it tomorrow at with the breaker off for several hours. I think the generator needs to be shined up. I only show 53hz and it should be 60hz, so the auto shutdown kicks in. Read Less

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by China made China made ..that says it all..first one I got ran for 72hrs..they sent me another one I sold it..the guy that bought it said it only ran for 80hrs July 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product was a lemon The model PDU6500E that I bought, worked for less than 48 hours and then refused to start. After several attempts to start the generator, the discovery was that there is an engine value that was faulty and sticking - so it seems like I have purchased a lemon. July 29, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Powerland6500-Watt Super Silent Diesel Generator with Electric Start, Wireless and Remote Control I will say that the generator- so far- has operated as expected. However, it is louder than advertized; not as loud as many comparable models, but louder than the 68db to which it was advertized. It did fire right up, and it has provided the power stipulated in the specifications. the instructions are entertaining; they were obviously written by someone who's primary language isn't English. To be honest they are just plain hard to read. The remote control- while functional- isn't very sturdy and I doubt it will last long. Don't buy it for that aspect. Yes, it will turn on the generator, but if you wait to apply the load (as you should), you'll have to walk out to the generator anyway. The battery isn't really situated in such a way as to maintain it. It is a bit of a pain to get it in and out, and to apply the leads. It isn't a deal breaker- just be aware of it. For the money, this is an adequate generator. Sure, you can get better, but you will pay a lot more. October 23, 2012
