The switch wire up differently the original one so make sure to ohm test before wiring it up. The compressor doesn't kick on till about 80psi but shuts off right at 130 psi. I messed with the switch trying to get it to kick on at a lower so I'm sure it voided the warranty but other than that it works great! If it kicked on at a higher pressure it would have gotten a much better rating.

Installed on a Hitachi 6gallon compressor works great
No long term usage yet ,use 1/4 inch plastic hose for the sensing port
The 1/4 npt ports are for gauges or interconnecting to another compressor and or mounting.
Sugest plugging the ports ,use the plugs provided.
Had to modify the plastic housing to fit it on

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bert A quality replacement for original pressure switch at much less cost than OEM pricing
Too early to tell whether or not there is any long term quality issues. The switch is functioning as intended after my replacement. The only suggestion that I have is that it would have been helpful to have a generic instruction sheet included to outline the intended use of the various ports in the valve and to detail the type of pipe connection provided for the bleeder port. I had to call the manufacturer for technical explanation and direction which an instruction sheet might have provided.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mike So far it works great. However, I could not remove a pre-installed pipe plug.
I have no complaints on the quality appearance and operation of the switch so far. However, it came with a pipe plug installed in one of the ports. When I tried to remove it, the broach stripped. I was confused why it would be so tight and why it was installed when it came with 2 additional spare plugs in a bag. Anyways, I got everything to work by using a T to make up for the lost port. I should probably add that I used this switch on an older air compressor of a different brand... so maybe the port was supposed to be plugged.

This was the easest pressure switch I have ever installed. There are four sets of screws on the switch for power. The top set of screws is power or line. the bottom set of screwss are for the motor and they are marked motor. The flex line coming off of the tank attaches to the air line in the bottom of the switch.
