Questions & Answers

can I set this switch up to cut on at 70 and cut off at 100

Asked by: tommy
No, this one was preset to 100 psi on and 130 psi off. There no instructions for making adjustments to those settings.

Does this switch operate on 110v or 220v?

I have a 60 gallon single stage compressor Campbell Hausfeld 220v
Asked by: grumpy4x
I used it for 220 V. You could use just one pole of the switch for 110 V.

Does bleeder bleed pressure off of compressor so it can start easier?

My old Campbell Hausfeld has a check valve and bleeder. Can the bleeder tube be hooked to this switch?
Asked by: Dave
No sounds like your check valve or safety release might be leaking. Spray with soapy water to check for leaks. The 1/4 inch sensing line should come from the main tank pressure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adapted to my compressor The bad switch on my compressor is no longer available. I bought this one as it was as close as I could find. I broke the rules and adjusted the pressure a bit. The switch perporms exactly as I needed. I imagine the "do not adjust" warnings are for the lawyers benefit. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Easy to install works great and less than half the cost of the original Campbell Hausfield. Had it 3 days after I ordered and my compressor is good as new. 2 of my friends have ordered similar models and are impressed with the quality for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far it works great. However, I could not remove a pre-installed pipe plug. I have no complaints on the quality appearance and operation of the switch so far. However, it came with a pipe plug installed in one of the ports. When I tried to remove it, the broach stripped. I was confused why it would be so tight and why it was installed when it came with 2 additional spare plugs in a bag. Anyways, I got everything to work by using a T to make up for the lost port. I should probably add that I used this switch on an older air compressor of a different brand... so maybe the port was supposed to be plugged.
