Answer:
Yes. The Powermate 15 gallon 200 PSI air compressor is more than adequate for inflating tractor tires as well as operating nail guns. It will also operate a number of automotive type pneumatic tools.

Answer:
Sure it can. Tractor tire sizes vary greatly, so larger tires need more volume air to fill them. The bigger the tire--the longer it will take with such a small compressor tank. On a regular 17" pick-up truck tire, this compressor will fill from flat to full in 1-2 minutes.

Answer:
This unit is not reconditioned. Also, we just double checked the Home Depot web site and in the spec area next to "Reconditioned" it says "No". I can assure you that, if you were to purchase this unit, you would receive a brand new compressor that has not been reconditioned.

Answer:
The compressor comes with a very heavy gauge 6' cord. Yes it will run on an extension cord for a while, but may burn up the motor over time. I tried doing this with my old compressor on a 10 gauge wire cord that was 25' long. It ran for a few days then burned up the motor--hence the NEW compressor.

We do not recommend operating any induction motor driven compressors on an extension cord. The gauge of wire and length of the extension cord can drastically affect voltage drop. Answer:
15 gals. of air won't last very long if expelled wide open--perhaps 1 minute before the compressor kicks on again. When using a blow gun, I try to use brief 5-10 second blasts regulated @ 80 psi to conserve the air. 80 psi will move almost any kind of debris.

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question!
There are many factors that would influence your run time. It depends on the blow gun being used, the diameter of the nozzle, the style of nozzle, as well as how many feet of hose the blow nozzle is connected to.
Please call 1-800-628-8815 to talk to a technician about your exact project.
