Customer Reviews

18 in. 196cc 4-Cycle Rear-Tine Counter Rotating Gas Powered Tiller - California Only is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for Three words... "Some Assembly Required".. Didn't know you could get something that size in a box that small. Pretty fast delivery though, That aside, I do believe it's the best bargan for what it is. Lots of power, easy to start, Positive Traction, so it won't piviot easy, Counter Rotating Tines, so Watch your feet, even though you do have guards, you have to lift it to turn and the tines run when the wheels turn, no other option. Tines are sharpened and will dig through almost anything, except concrete, but it will try. Did I mention it does have a reverse, useful for hidden blocks...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Find another option I too brought it home, set it up, no problems there, but then went to use it and she just squealed so after about an hour of adjusting things I got it running ok. After having it 9 days during its second use I went to squeeze the lever to engage the machine and the bar connecting the lever and the throttle broke, I wasn't very thrilled and simply took the whole thing back to Home Depot and started over. I used the second machine a total of 4 times over a year, the machine sat in the sun approx. 14-21 days and the paint is all but gone, this happened to the first machine as well and I only had that outside 9 days total. This year I went through the fluids, fired it up and tilled about 80% of a 1/4 acre garden before it happened again, the metal piece connecting the lever broke AGAIN! I'm about to go down the path of disappointment I'm sure as I don't even want to deal with this machine anymore. Any suggestions on a replacement are greatly appreciated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from if it would only work When I got the tiller I got it all put together and running and the tire fell completely off the rim that it was on. I had to take it to someone to have it fixed. after that I came home to till the garden again and it began to squeal very loud and upon further inspection the tiller was missing a bolt on the engine which had in turn shredded the belt.
