Does this machine have an extension to use on two story buildings?

Asked by: Mary
There is no pressure wand extension available that I could find. This is a major drawback to this machine. But the electric cord and pressure hose parts are longer than others I have found which helps. Thanks.

The hose connection has a screen/gasket which only leaves a few threads for the hose which came off once under pressure. GFI breaker tripped once so far for no discernable reason. The pump puts out good pressure. The gun hose connection works well and has not leaked. The gun itself is ok. There are two buttons on the gun handle. One prevents the trigger from being pulled however the other does not hold the trigger open. I think it should but it has not worked yet. The hose reel works with care. I have only had it 1 month so we will see how it holds up. I bought the extended warranty just in case. My last Pressure washer was a 4000 lb beast that damaged wood if great care was not used plus the gas engine hassles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job well We fired this baby up to clean our deck off well before treating it. It is decently light and powerful. It has an extremely long extension cord, which made it easy to move around. It is simple to put together and comes with a few different attachments to help you with whatever job you are doing. We used it to clean the stains off the deck, which it handled nicely. It also has an option to add soap to the back compartment in case your job requires more than pressurized water. If we had any complaints it would be that it would be nice to have a second handle to help transport it up and down stairs. the one handle made it a little difficult to maneuver up and down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-in-all, a good washer for DIYers This pressure washer was delivered thoroughly packaged with all parts included and no damage in sight. It required an easy 5 minutes assembly to attach the handle with metal wand, spray gun holder, nozzle tray, quick connect and the nozzle. In the entire assembly, there are only two screws involved so you will need a Phillips screw driver. For entire assembly, you do not need any experience at all. Ergonomically, it’s well designed, all controls are perfectly placed for easy reach. Two large sized wheels make it very easy to move it around over any terrain. It comes with 4 nozzles (0, 25, rotary and soap nozzle). It got a big detergent tank in the back in case the soap application is required. GFCI power cord is 35 feet long and hose reel is 30 feet, both combined certainly provides good reach in most applications. Consuming only 1.4 gallons per minutes is certainly makes it a high efficiency washer. It also helps me keep my water bill low as water is very expensive in my town. My home is 5 years old and I’ve used it on vinyl sidings, stained deck, gutters, side concrete walk, driveway asphalt and family cars. It performed great on cars, sidings and gutters with 25 degree nozzle but the performance on deck with 25 degree nozzle was average. I generally prefer to use 25 or 40 degrees nozzle when covering wide areas and that’s why I did not use rotary nozzle on wood as the rotary action can chip it. On light stains, it performed nice and easy without any soap. On tough stains especially on my deck, it required multiple passes to remove dirt, grime, mold and mildew. I used deck pressure washer concentrate with the soap settings, used a broom to scrub the wood grains and then pressure washed again to produce the results. In my experience, it’s a great fit for light to medium level seasonal cleaning tasks. It’s very easy to use and takes minimal space when stored. Since there is no gas involved, I don’t anticipate any startup issues seasons and seasons. All-in-all, a good washer for DIYers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electric Pressure Washer that works like a gas one - amazing! Finally, a terrific product with an exemplary company that stands behind their products and goes the extra mile for their customers! I purchased the Powerplay PJR2000 PressureJet in March of 2015 after seeing some good reviews on Amazon and Home Depot's website. I was skeptical about going with an electric pressure washer as apposed to a gas model, but let me tell you - I will never go back! This thing has the power to tackle any dirty job, and it's quiet too. My driveway, sidewalk, fence, deck, and back patio are all sparkling new. I was really happy about the soap dispensing ability too - works great for washing my car! It comes with every tip you need to get the job done, and it takes up practically no space with its compact design. Any trouble or questions I had, all were taken care of or answered swiftly, and I was shown nothing but courtesy. I would have given 10 stars if that was an option. I will recommend this to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Compact Pressure Washer This little guy packs a powerful punch. Assembly was a snap and I put it to work right out of the box. The four nozzles are stored on board and the hose reel is a nice feature but can be a little hard to use. The machine is very quiet and has a automatic shut off when not in use. If you look at my pictures you can see that it removed all of the moss on the bolder with no problem in about 20 minutes. The cord and hose are good lengths but you will need a 8mm or 5/16 Allen wrench to tighten the hose connection to the machine. The soap dispenser bottle is a great touch and it's easy to fill and clean. I would like to see some rubber feet added to the bottom of the machine so it doesn't move.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the money. This pressure washer has a few more features than others I found. The PSI was a bit more (2000PSI). The electric cord was a bit longer than others (35 feet) and the pressure hose a bit longer than others (35 feet). There was also a good selection of pressure tips including a rotary tip. These features convinced me to buy this pressure washer. Performance is also good. The only drawback I have noticed is there is no extension for the pressure wand. You cannot clean high up easily as with gutters, etc. And there are no other accessories available. But overall, a good performer and value. Thanks.
