What gauge would ne best for wrapping a small bundle of would,,the type you would aee in convenience stores?

Asked by: Terry
This would work fine. Most of these type wraps are the same thin gauge and you just put on enough wraps to hold things in place.

Worked pretty well to secure a couple of 10' gutter pipes together so I can secure them to my roofrack! I didn't want the gutters and pipes to move around and this did the trick for both wrapping around the lengths of the pipes and on the ends so they don't slide back and forth. Ratchetted them down securely but not TOO TIGHT as gutter material IS aluminum. Got gutters home safe and sound thanks to the stretch wrap. Gonna keep this roll in the trunk of the Jeep as the all-purpose, wrap 'em up and tie 'em downs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best stuff ever This stuff is perfect for moving. Use it to wrap furniture, wrap boxes that don't have a top, wrap like items that you can't box, (sports equipment, garden hoses, bed parts, etc). It lasts forever, didn't even use it all with our recent move, and I used it freely. The stuff sticks very nicely to itself. I've been finding more and more ways to use it even after moving. I'd consider it for food but haven't looked into the safety of it, chemicals, etc.

The handle came lose after wrapping a couple of boxes, stick back on only to come off again. Tried to tighten with some of the plastic inside the handle, but then the handle won't turn any more. Great idea by inventor, bad design, apparently inventor never used his/her own product or else he/she would have made it better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but watch the handle This stuff helps me stay neat and organized. The handle makes this product stand out, but it can be tricky. There is a cover at the base of the handle. Without the unique handle, the product is like any other awkward wrap. The cover at the base of handle came off after three uses. Luckily, I was able to retrieve it and reinstall it to the base.

Maybe I should have bought the larger one with two handles but with one handle I was able to rotate the items I was wrapping with my free hand instead of going around them in circles. EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase and the plastic does not tear or stretch when the items are wrapped!

I used for moving, to wrap some small drawer units to keep drawers from opening & package flat items such as table legs together for easier transport. However, I used it for so much more - as protection against scuffs, to hold odd shaped items together, etc. Goes a long way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! This handy stretch wrap is perfect for the smaller moving uses and/or applications where a cling film can be used to secure components together temporarily. I used it to secure cardboard corners to my furniture for a move. Then the larger width wrap to keep doors and drawers in place.

Overall a good product for securing/compression-wrapping small and medium sized items. Must be used carefully over sharp edges and corners as the material is not "extra strong", so will tear in these areas if stretched too tight on the first couple of wrap passes
