There is no odor when you unwrap the blanket from the package. They are used to protect furniture during a mover.

Answer:
Not sure what you are asking, but this does not eliminate Odors from what is covered, but does temporarily block odors if the item is covered and tightly bound to the object. If kept too long, it will also absorb the odor and need cleaning or discarding if the odor is too strong.

Answer:
they are washable, but due to size, only by themselves or in professional grade equipment. Be aware, that unless you run at least an extra Spin cycle, they are extremely heavy when taken out to dry.

Answer:
These can reduce sound levels when used between two spaces and tightly attached. If there is a vibration issue , these do a great job of reducing the vibration noise.

72 in. x 80 in. Moving Blanket is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moving Blanket Bought 2 of these. Think the price is a little high for the quality. One was really good the other had tons of defects in the stitching and in the fabric. Quality control is very poor. Needed blanket right away otherwise I would have taken the second one back as I don not think it will last very long.

I don't have a lot of experience with moving blankets, but I bought two of these to protect a couple of wooden bookcases I transported 300 miles in the back of my pickup and they did the job perfectly. Note that the packaging warns against using them directly against light-colored wood, presumably because the color will bleed if it gets wet (just a guess on my part; I wrapped the bookcases in plastic prior to using the blankets so that wasn't a concern). The blankets are substantial, and the reusable plastic packaging is a plus for storage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT What You Might Think If You're Over 30! Was looking for an old-fashioned moving blanket like the kind that's been around for years - thickly-padded with recycled cotton filling, to use as liner for a guinea pig cage. NOT the intended use for this product, I know. This is a very thin imitator; not what I would really call "padded," and one side is made of that papery non-woven stuff. As it did not indicate anywhere on product or packaging, I had to call the manufacturer to find out that it is NOT washable! If you even spill anything on it, forget it! Now I need to find and pay for something better before this one poops out! Definitely would call this single-use/disposable, and not sure it would really "pad" anything unless folded.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4.5 Good for the price!! It wasnt as thick as I was expecting but does the job!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Paper thin padding This is not a true quilted movers blanket. It has a cheap woven exterior and the interior feels like a paper product, the "padding" is literally paper thin. The only thing it does have is the stiching. They are calling this product a "Premium Moving Blanket" if you got the cheapest economy blanket it would be cloth on both sides and have some protective padding within. This product does not. You should avoid this product or you will be returning it like I will be tomorrow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from High price for disposable quality- Rent instead You could pretty much poke your finger right through these. For the price these should be like the ones made with real cloth like movers use. These are junk. Don't waste your money on them. We bought some and returned them. Rented some from a moving truck rental instead for a lot less money. U know who they are.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from INFERIOR moving blanket home depot used to sell good moving blankets, quilted on both sides, but these are thin with not much padding, and only quilted on one side, they are black on the underside, but picture shows it to be blue, and is stated as premium on package, I would hate to see what non premium looks like.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delivery and quality of product Delivery took too long . Would have been more productive to just to purchase at store. Blankets are of poor quality. Will no longer opt for delivery of any product
