Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by would not recommend Aside from the compression forklift defect which was not Premier's fault I presume (the back end was tapered), the burners are very flimsy and it just is not a great looking stove for the money. February 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this 24 inch oven range. In part, my enjoyment of my new range is that my old one was horrific. The gas flame would go out when simmering or when multiple burners were on and the broiler door was obstinate. So, replacing a cheapo with a high end would understandably feel like I've been catapulted up to heaven. That being said, just some simple comparisons, the width inside this oven is greater by an inch or two. The burners are incredibly easy to control, as in very tight control over size of flame. The cast iron grate over the top are about an inch thick!!! :) I'm not sure why that matters, but the feel of moving/sliding pots across the stove stovetop is something I've never experienced. It's just so easy. I hardly notice that it's a 24 inch--and that's a big deal, as anyone who has a tiny kitchen would agree with. The timer is actually a nice feature--even though I've become accustomed to using my iPhone timer. It beeps when one minute remains, then beeps at the end. The nice thing is, that it beeps a single beep every 15 seconds or so afterward, which is a useful reminder when multi-tasking. I installed it myself. That's simply connecting the gas. Installing the anti-tip plate and leveling. Leveling is a bit tricky--as it is with any oven in an old house that has settled. I spent effort raising it up higher than I needed to, as I didn't take into the account that the stove top grates are an inch thick. Our city issues permits to consumers, which includes an onsite inspection. Some municipalities limit installs to plumbers. Don't go doing a self install without an inspection!!!!! Jes' sayin'. :) The delivery was a bit of a hassle. I wish HD didn't contract out for that on this product, but they do. The delivery company doesn't call to let you know which day they're delivering (unless you go with premium delivery to specific room in house.) They send an e-mail with a three-day window. You have to keep checking the tracking to see which day it's out for delivery. It worked out, but I won't do that again. I suppose the drawback is the price--however, at this quality, nit sure that's the case. There was such a limited choice of 24 inch, and $500-1000 ranges seemed cheap, inflated prices. I would say that this oven is priced appropriately--and NOT inflated like the lesser ovens were. I feel that I got what I paid for (even though it was a hit to the pocket book.) All in all, I love this product. I've resumed cooking/baking habit that I had lost after being with lesser ranges. June 25, 2013
