Assembly is difficult due to unclear directions. I had to take apart a few times because pieces were upside down. It was a trial and error for me. But once I finally got it right I do like it. There are quite a bit of flaws in the wood but I dont think it will be obvious once items are hung on hooks and baskets in the cubbies up top. The wood seems to be sturdy.

Very disappointed in the quality of this product. Parts of the particle board and lamanet broke loose while turning in the screws. I like the look of the shelf but the quality is poor.

Very attractive addition to the bench seat. Have put this together but not hung it yet. That should be interesting because it is a fairly large piece to hang on a wall; luckily it is not too heavy.

An Ikea-style product that looks good and goes together with few problems. The instructions aren't completely clear, however, so be careful and check each piece to make sure it is facing the right direction before you attach it.

Simple to put together and hang! Very very very sturdy! I use backpacks on every single hook and it doesn't budge! The quality is excellent! Very happy with my purchase!

It looks nice and I like the styling but a bit of a pain to assemble. This shelf feels unnecessarily heavy since it's just made of engineering wood, and I dont know yet how much I trust the desing of how it's held to the wall -- one piece with a lip cut out that gets screwed to the wall and the shelf just hooks onto it. The wood screws included are brass and while they look nice, the head is too soft so the screwdriver kept slipping. This shelf is heavy, so you better plan on screwing it only to the studs on your wall. I wish they would have chosen a different design to hang the shelf, because as is there is no way to easily hide the wood screws from showing.

Directions made it easy to put together, and it looks great matched up with the shoe cubby from home depot.

I paired this entryway shelf with the matching bench as part of my mud room updating. I added beadboard wainscotting and top rail trim behind the bench up four feet on the wall, then mounted the shelf about 5 inches above the top of the trim. I nailed in and caulked along the back of the bench to give it a custom built-in look. I painted the beadboard and trim Dove White, which matched the Monterey set nicely. I added a pole & shelf closet system on the opposite wall, and the same beadboard trim to the bottom 4 feet of wall. Fresh paint and new lighting fixture, and I have a new, classic and functional mud room for under $400!
