The home I purchased has an R115 valve body.

How should I search for trim kits that fit this body?

Single-Handle Bath/Shower Valve Only Trim Kit.

What happens if I unscrew the 2 long screws on the trim kit? Will water come out or stay in?

Answer:
Here is the link to all of the trims that fit the R115 rough in valve. http://www.americanstandard-us.com/products/searchResults.aspx?pc=&p=1&so=productDate&k=r115&di=0&r=25
Water will run out if you remove the screws and you haven't turned off the water lines. You must turn off the water lines to the faucet before removing any parts.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Bought this as a part of total bathroom remodel....down to the studs. Put this behind fiberglass shower surround on the left side and ran pex around to put shower head on right side. This was pretty easy to install. Instructions were good and the kit was complete. I encountered no problems. August 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I ordered This is a fairly easy install or retrofit. With some skill and perseverance any homeowner with determination can do it. Not easy peasy but not impossible. That's why I gave it a "Good" rating on installation. I am a maintenance professional and have plenty of experience but I thought that the instructions that were included were plain and direct. The valve body came packaged properly and everything needed was there. This was the best price I found for the product. December 28, 2014
