Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Orville 10 kernels out of half a cup unpopped
Using arrowhead mills organic yellow popcorn only about 10 kernels fail to pop out of a half cup (maximum quantity permitted) which is quite good - none are burned - some of the kernels fly out unpopped during the beginning of the process and may bounce out of your bowl - kernels begin to pop 60 seconds into the cycle and giant bowl is filled in an additional 60 seconds - put salt in a blender to powder it so it will stick to hot popcorn and enjoy oil free popcorn.

It works great and starts popping in a few minutes, but it does throw cernals out when heating up. Overall pops quick light and fluffy popcorn.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jchico1013 Excellent popcorn popper.
The popper made good popcorn. Bought a product using oil and returned it. Using oil makes the popcorn chewy. This air popper is the only way to go. The popper is fast and requires no cleaning.

Works as advertised. Purchased organic yellow popcorn and store in glass jar to keep humidity constant. Pops nearly all of the kernels. No real problem with stray un-popped kernels "escaping" I use a large enough metal pot to pop into, then transfer to quart sized plastic bags. Pops in less than four minutes. Cleans with a damp rag. No on/off button, so one has to unplug the device - I would anyway. No big deal, keeps the cost down, and one less part to malfunction. "Older" design than the "new" Orville Redenbacher model, but cost is less! Can add butter and/or salt later on, I don't add any due to hypertension and higher-than-I-would-like cholesterol. I would buy this again.

Purchased one about 40 years ago (without the instructions) and got frustrated when the cover warped due to removing it before it cooled down. Don't remember how good a job it did back then; but this new one works like a charm. Just follow the directions and enjoy. My wife asks why I don't put salt or butter on the finished product. I confess that if I added these ingredients, then I would have too much difficulty restricting myself to just one popping.

Pops popcorn fast and easy in only a couple of minutes. I don't like microwaved popcorn, and I don't like the mess with popping corn in a skillet on the stove, and worry about scorching it. Fast and easy low calorie snack without added oil.
All you do is plug it in, measure the popcorn in the measuring cup that fits on top, pour it into the popper, replace the measuring cup, and let the fun begin! You can also melt butter for the popcorn in the measuring cup.
I used to only make popcorn once in a while, but now I can enjoy it more often because of how easy it is to make with the popper. Love it!

I've been popping popcorn for years on a gas stovetop...with great results. When I moved into a house with and electric range, it just wouldn't work. I needed to find another solution. Someone suggested an air popper. Shortly thereafter, I looked them up on the Home Depot website and found this one. It does exactly as it says...makes a whole bunch of popcorn in just a few minutes. The only drawback is that there's no power switch...you plug it in and go...and unplug it when you're done.
