What a great idea!! My husband refurbishes antique tractors. More often than not, that includes a new paint job. Up to now, that meant buying paint by the quart or gallon can and matching spray cans, if we could find them, for touch ups. This little sprayer replaces the spray can and is filled with paint from the quart or gallon can. How awesome is that!! They come two to a package and the cost is equivalent to spray cans. Good stuff!

I recommend using the Preval spray system for small touch up painting jobs at home. . I sprayed painted a small section of repaired crown molding. The resulting finish was very smooth. When using semi- gloss latex paint I had to dilute the paint to a 3 to 2 ratio. The one good thing when using latex paint is that the cleanup is very easy. The one thing I did not like is having to strain the paint with a strainer before painting. When using vanishes, lacquer and/or oil based paint you need only thin to a 4 to 1 ratio before using.

Tried these sprayers because I do a lot of restoration work and often deal with custom color paint.
It is usually applied with a HVLP gun for most parts.
However in the course of assembly occasionally individual parts need to be painted and can't wait for the next large batch to be sprayed.
I can thin a a small quantity of the enamel and fill the jar at the beginning of the project. Seal the air vent with a piece of plastic tape and put the sprayer on the shelf.
When I need it I just use it like a regular spray can.
Down side - the nozzle has a very course spray pattern. Thinned with proper retarder, the paint flows to an even gloss. Paint that dries fast can have an "orange peel" finish.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DIYQueenSWFL Doesn't work long enough to complete DIY job
I received two Sprayer Pro-Packs, and neither worked well at all. I filled each glass canister and tested it briefly before attempting to paint a primed area in my kitchen. It sprayed for about a minute, then stopped. I'm not sure if the paint was too thick (the instructions said to thin thick paints, and I did so), but neither sprayer worked. Both did the exact same thing while using, sprayed for about a minute then stopped spraying paint only air....no more paint. I ended up having to finish painting the job with a paint brush. See photos of DIY work area, and videos of both sprayers. I do not recommend this product.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mamajane1234 Couldn't make it work
It could have been me or the paint that I used, but I never could get this to work correctly. I thinned the paint several times, changed chargers, changed tubes and never got it to spray consistently. I was using gloss latex and it just kept doing fits and spurts and that was when it wasn't just letting all the pressure out of the can. You really need to use gloves or the sprayer handle because the can get really COLD. I also got the Val Pack so I still have lots of stuff left. I really want this to work because a good spray job looks better than the brush so I'll try again with a new small can of paint.
After messing with it for about an hour, I finally got out the old brush and did the rest of the boards in about 5 minutes.
I'm really disappointed. If I figure it out and/or get help, I'll re-visit this review and update it. . It does at least clean up easily - I never use anything that can't be cleaned with water

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Norm Multiple Use sprayer
My WD-40 nozzles were always clogging, while the cans were still half full, so I filled the Preval Spray System reservoir with a light oil, like 3-in-1. The powerful sprayer has no problem misting the oil. I use it to spray: power hedge trimming cutters, before & after use; all metal garden tools; cutting edges on indoor tools, etc.

Easy to assemble to the nozzle. Great sprayer to use for small jobs.
