Preval spray system is a good choice for any touchup or small projects. Everyone has used spray cans before with both good results and bad. You are limited to colors available and are at the mercy of nozzle clogs, good luck. The package come with
complete instructions on the container. The two pack has two extra nozzles and pickup tubes. I would also search the web for Preval to view a couple videos. I had good results with lacquer. Nice to use exact paint and color to do touchups.

Works well for quickly spraying a project without breaking out the paint gun and compressor. Wouldn't necessarily consider using it for large surfaces.

What a great idea!! My husband refurbishes antique tractors. More often than not, that includes a new paint job. Up to now, that meant buying paint by the quart or gallon can and matching spray cans, if we could find them, for touch ups. This little sprayer replaces the spray can and is filled with paint from the quart or gallon can. How awesome is that!! They come two to a package and the cost is equivalent to spray cans. Good stuff!

I had picked up the Preval fan sprayer some time back and have been very pleased with its performance. The sprayer 2 pack is a must have. The product is simple - a glass jar and a pressurized can - what really amounts to a personalized can of spray paint. The glass jars can be reused multiple times and are easy clean up. Just buy another pressure canister and you're all set. I used this product to prime and paint clear pine trim around a bath window that was a part of my recent remodel. I was prepared with brush in hand should the paint come out splattering and uneven. I never had to touch the brush. The paint comes out smooth and the finish I achieves was professional. I used a little Flowtrol product help smooth the paint. I was able to lay down the paint in thin layers allowing faster dry times. It took me longer to tape the window than it did to spray the trim. Every DIYer needs this product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DIYQueenSWFL Doesn't work long enough to complete DIY job
I received two Sprayer Pro-Packs, and neither worked well at all. I filled each glass canister and tested it briefly before attempting to paint a primed area in my kitchen. It sprayed for about a minute, then stopped. I'm not sure if the paint was too thick (the instructions said to thin thick paints, and I did so), but neither sprayer worked. Both did the exact same thing while using, sprayed for about a minute then stopped spraying paint only air....no more paint. I ended up having to finish painting the job with a paint brush. See photos of DIY work area, and videos of both sprayers. I do not recommend this product.

It could have been me or the paint that I used, but I never could get this to work correctly. I thinned the paint several times, changed chargers, changed tubes and never got it to spray consistently. I was using gloss latex and it just kept doing fits and spurts and that was when it wasn't just letting all the pressure out of the can. You really need to use gloves or the sprayer handle because the can get really COLD. I also got the Val Pack so I still have lots of stuff left. I really want this to work because a good spray job looks better than the brush so I'll try again with a new small can of paint.
After messing with it for about an hour, I finally got out the old brush and did the rest of the boards in about 5 minutes.
I'm really disappointed. If I figure it out and/or get help, I'll re-visit this review and update it. . It does at least clean up easily - I never use anything that can't be cleaned with water

The sprayer isn't very good if you haven't used them before. The paint I used must have been too thick but after you start using it, it is too late as the nozzle is clogged. The aerosol can should be bigger in at least one of the cans so you can practice with the paint thickness and to get used to the spray. Once you have used them it is too late. I am sticking with a brush.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Larry Good paint system for small jobs
I recommend using the Preval spray system for small touch up painting jobs at home. . I sprayed painted a small section of repaired crown molding. The resulting finish was very smooth. When using semi- gloss latex paint I had to dilute the paint to a 3 to 2 ratio. The one good thing when using latex paint is that the cleanup is very easy. The one thing I did not like is having to strain the paint with a strainer before painting. When using vanishes, lacquer and/or oil based paint you need only thin to a 4 to 1 ratio before using.
