I like to airbrush, but I understand it can be a complicated, messy, and frustrating hobby if you have the wrong set up or lack the knowledge or experience necessary. I put together model kits in my spare time, so having an extra airbrush is handy. I would say this thing is comparable to a good Iwata, but MUCH cheaper. The kit includes a regular spray tip for fine airbrushing and a larger fan-type tip comparable to the ones on actual automotive spray guns. The only thing I didn't like is the Paasche-style adapters on the hose, as they do not fit the typical (airbrushing) compressor and will require a custom adapter unless you buy the Preval compressor as well. Other than that, there are a few accessories included in the kit like glass jars, adapters, etc. The box is NICE! It's a wooden box with metal hinges and a lock tab in soft foam. I believe there are a few kits available with different accessories depending on the type of work you're doing, which is why I got confused when I saw an area for a siphon cup cut out of foam as well as the cover for the fine spray tip missing. Pick the kit you need so you can make sure all the things you need are there.

This is a really nice airbrush that does a great job of giving an even application. Really impressed when I opened the packaging and saw the nice wooden box that contains the kit - really stands out as quality when your airbrush comes in such a box! The airbrush itself is very high quality and does a fantastic job. If you're thinking about getting this, you should - it works very well! Highly recommend!

This is one fine air brush. Comes in a wooden case with all the extra pieces parts plus a nice length of braided hose to attache to the air source. The cup attached to the air brush is just the right size for doing small jobs like touch up or painting small parts to models. I like the adjustability of the spray and it is kinda touchy, since I am new to airbrushing that might be why it is touchy for me. It seems like a well made tool and it fits into my hand very nicely.

This is a very well constructed pro grade gravity sprayer.Everything about it is quality.I use it for everything from modding computer cases to applying clear coat to furniture,it can spray just about anything you need for a project. It is easy to clean and maintain. You can take it completely apart for cleaning. The one big thing I love is it comes right out of the box ready for your air compressor. It will spray up to 3 inches wide or down to a very fine line if needed.Remember if using your air compressor to turn it down, air pressure is 20 to 75 pounds max depending on paint. You cant go wrong with this sprayer and I keep coming up with new ways to use it.It has turned into a must have for me.

This is a very high-quality airbrush, made in the USA. The materials, fit and finish of all of the items included is superb, and all came fitted in a very nice wooden box.
I chose this gravity model for it's ability to apply heavier paints than your typical airbrush. Using it with air supplied from my small 2-gallon twin-stack compressor, I had no trouble laying down a nice finish on anything that I tried it on, after thinning the paint accordingly. A simple change of tips takes you from fine lines to heavy coverage. Simple to use, and simple to clean. Highly recommended!

Preval vFan Gravity Spray System is a top quality airbrush. The system comes with:
- Airbrush tool with (2) spray tips
- Pressure tank regulator for optional ENERGY air propellant cans
- (2) Small jars with caps for storing unused thinned paint
- Air hose with 1/4 in. NPT
- Instruction manual, tools and wooden case
This air brush works differently from siphon type airbrushes that have a jar on the bottom of the brush and hose to siphon up the paint. This one uses a cup on the top of the brush which uses gravity to feed paint down into the brush. Its less cumbersome without dangling jars. The air brush is a precision tool, well machined parts with a high quality finish. As provided the airbrush works with an air compressor. You need to provide your own male fitting if you are using a standard garage air compressor with a line filter. They offer an optional aerosol air supply called ENERGY too that eliminates the compressor making it more convenient. You can run the air brush hose to the aerosol can with the included regulator and it is now portable freeing you from a cumbersome main compressor hose.
To check out the airbrush used it on a birdhouse project I was putting together. Its a small project, but allowed me to try out the feel of the tool. What's nice is the airbrush feels good in the hand, balanced and the fine spray tip is very precise up close. This tip is used for pin strips and they have another included one, a fan tip, for wider coverage up to three inches. A good tip is to first use water in the paint reservoir and practice using the brush on a piece of newspaper until you are comfortable with it. It does take practice in adjusting the paint's viscosity to get a good finish and to control over spray. Also, I went on Youtube and watched several clips Preval has put up as the included instructions are sketchy. What was helpful in the booklet is a paint dilution chart which is a guide for how much to thin out different paints.

I got this mainly for my wife who is the the hobbyist and my son who is a semi pro artist. They have now both tried it out and given me a big thumbs up. My wife used this on some of her crafts for some painting and light detailing, and my son tested out and likes it so well he is going to do some artwork on several walls in our home for us that I have been nagging him about. This is a big win and his artwork will defiantly give the house a truly unique look and add some value as well. It sets up easily, has a good steady flow and applies paint evenly. Clean up is not too bad and we're very happy so far.
