Customer Questions & Answers

Does this vgrip work with rustoleum stainless spray products

Asked by: Phil
I don't see why not. I have only used it with the Preval Spray can but it fits any standard aerosol can. It handles nicely -- so much better than holding the spray can and button if you have bigger projects.

vGrip Handle is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I would have gotten one sooner. I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these sooner. I have been thinking about picking one up for over a year but always seem to forget every time I was at the store. Now that I have one, I am looking for things around the house to paint. Snapping them on and off spray cans takes a little force and there is a technique to it but once I did it a couple of times, I got the hang of it. Now I can control the spray with my whole hand and don’t get any paint on my finger. The price is well worth it. Don’t be like me and forget, pick yours up now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These things help me so much! Now I own seven of them! I've had some issues with arthritis past year or so, and I love to spray paint stuff. These are such a good idea! I am very happy with mine! Not only can you hold the grip easily, you can spray for a long time, or spray a really large surface, and not be feelin' it the next day! I've got a lot of little projects, and spray paint is more fun than using a brush!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST HAVE for spray painting I used this to spray paint outdoor sling chairs which were originally powder coated and the finish degraded. They also needed new slings. It was quite a project to disassemble, and prep for painting. After all that work, I wanted a very good paint job like they were new. I needed about 8-10 cans of spray paint to do the job. Had to some research on this product, I came to the conclusion this would help me achieve my goal of a good paint job. I must say that this product made a DEFINITE DIFFERENCE in the project and the final finish. I could not imagine doing it with just my finger on spray can button. It was like using professional spraygun. I did learn that not all cans are equal as well. Some buttons needed much more pressure than others and again this product made a big difference here... I would definitely recommend this do anyone who has a project that will be spray-painted and you want a professional finish. I particularly like at this models "trigger" is more than just a finger-pull. Very ergonomic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sprayer Handle This handle is made of heavier plastic than most handles. It does fit the average aerosol paint can but does take some effort the first time you try it because of the heavier plastic.. It is much more comfortable in the hand & the spray output from the can is much better than using the can by itself. That is because 4 fingers deliver more pressure to the nozzle than a single fingertip. You no longer have paint on that fingertip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, easy to use tool... The V-GRip snap on aerosol can spray handle seems to work fairly well. It "snaps" on to the aerosol can's flange, and it a fairly tight friction fit. The large "trigger" handle simply allows the user to control the spraying by squeezing the grip, rather than having to press down on the cans spray button. When spraying for an extended time, this can releave finger strain that would normally occur using a single finger to control the spray button. The V-Grip is all plastic, and seems rather flimsy, but it did work well. I would wonder how well it would hold up with time, since the plastic flange that snaps to the aerosol can is very tight. Only time will tell how well it will hold up with extended use. BC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well but difficult to remove from can So far, vGrip has attached to all but one spray can that I've tried it on. The spray action using vGrip is far superior to the usual finger-on-nozzle method and allows for superior control of the application of the material, whether paint, adhesive, lubricant, etc. The main problem I've found is that, especially in cold temperatures, the vGrip is difficult to remove from the can tops and usually requires a tool to get it to release properly,.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More control then the paint tip I used this while spraying on my bed liner (came in spray paint cans). I did tailgate before getting this, it looked a little sloppy and hand was really sore after 2 cans. Used this handle and did 6 cans and no aches and not to mentioned looked better as well. With this there is more control and easier on hands, especially fingers. It feels like using a spray gun and almost performs like one as well from spray paint. Will no doubt us this on any can of spray paint for future use. Even neighbor was impressed on how much better the area I did with the V-Grip compared to just finger.
