I have a brand new home the contractor put two Pridiom units in. One works and one doesn't. Forget about ever being able to find a technician who can work on these. Even the contractor who put these in say they can't work on them and the company will not provide them with a service manual. Not a product manual for the consumer but a manual for HVAC technicians. The technicians have to call the company for them to walk them through troubleshooting and that is banker hours Mon-Fri so good luck. If you buy consider it sold as is and you are on your own.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kevin Worst units ever!!! Don't even think about purchasing, ZERO support
Had these units installed in June by an HVAC contractor. After the first few days I found they wouldn't maintain temperature within 5 degrees and buzzed. Then the bedroom unit began to emit a horrible funky odour. I had the contractor come over and contact Pridium but was told this was all normal. I will be ripping this junk out before next summer. Buyer beware, you've been warned!! Just look at all the negative reviews.

I bought 2 mini-split units, 18000 Btu. After a year they started having problems. Contacted Tech support (Ethan), the most rude, condescending, unhelpful person I’ve ever spoken to. Long story short 4 months later and 10 visits from a certified contractor, my units still don’t work and they will not honor the warranty. WILL NEVER purchase PRIDIOM again.

Installation was fairly easy, but when the power supply assembly died, they will NOT return calls when we tried to buy a replacement.

We have had several problems with these units. Pridiom always wants to say that it is an installation issue even though professionals have installed them. They just want to sell units, they do not want to stand behind their equipment. Stay away from this product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Andrew Worst unit, horrible business
We purchased a home in February that came with brand new Pridiom units. They do not work. I called the company and spoke with the owner to get a recommendation for a technician. Not only would he not provide me with a recommendation, he told me the warranty didn't apply to me because I was not the original owner. He then hung up on me. This was the rudest business owner I have ever encountered. If he will not honor his warranty I will proceed with legal action.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bluecor You still gotta get it charged!
Had to pay quite a bit to get this installed and charged with coolant. Cost me as much as the unit itself. Watch your budget.
Otherwise satisfied. Works well, quiet, and cold.

Looks good, worked good, for the first year. Then the unit quit working and this is where the problems began. Upon reading the owners manual I discovered the unit had to be installed by a licensed professional. This I had done. I was told I needed a new control board and power supply. No fuses were blown, anywhere. I was told I would have to purchase new ones at a cost close to $500. After much discussion about the warranty, I was sent new parts. These new parts were not the same, but looked close. I had another contractor attempt to install the new parts but they were too different. He called Pridiom customer service and after an hour, still could not get an answer as to the different connections. After three trips to my house he gave up and no longer wants to work on this unit. I have called several other contractors, including Sears, who also sells these products, and no one will work on them. Another letter to Pridiom asking for help got no reply. Would definitely NOT recommend this product.
