Looks good, worked good, for the first year. Then the unit quit working and this is where the problems began. Upon reading the owners manual I discovered the unit had to be installed by a licensed professional. This I had done. I was told I needed a new control board and power supply. No fuses were blown, anywhere. I was told I would have to purchase new ones at a cost close to $500. After much discussion about the warranty, I was sent new parts. These new parts were not the same, but looked close. I had another contractor attempt to install the new parts but they were too different. He called Pridiom customer service and after an hour, still could not get an answer as to the different connections. After three trips to my house he gave up and no longer wants to work on this unit. I have called several other contractors, including Sears, who also sells these products, and no one will work on them. Another letter to Pridiom asking for help got no reply. Would definitely NOT recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Bluecor You still gotta get it charged!
Had to pay quite a bit to get this installed and charged with coolant. Cost me as much as the unit itself. Watch your budget.
Otherwise satisfied. Works well, quiet, and cold.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Andrew Worst unit, horrible business
We purchased a home in February that came with brand new Pridiom units. They do not work. I called the company and spoke with the owner to get a recommendation for a technician. Not only would he not provide me with a recommendation, he told me the warranty didn't apply to me because I was not the original owner. He then hung up on me. This was the rudest business owner I have ever encountered. If he will not honor his warranty I will proceed with legal action.
