Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. This product repels moisture and should therefore assist with "slide off" on vertical surfaces. Surface that are flat or only slightly slanted will still contribute to the accumulation of snow, even with the lubricant applied.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great for several jobs After viewing a you tube cut, I purchased this product to aid in my laser engraving efforts. I have used it for several other applications for which it was made. The product has worked well in all applications. I would hope that home depot would stock it in my local store, as it works better that what they stock now for the job the product was designed for.. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Reloading Press Lubricant I use the dry lube film on my reloading presses to prevent Primer contamination. Beneath the shell plate, Primer arm actuator - etc. Stays put, dries to milky translucent color. Works real well!!! August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job Works great unsticking locks and lubricating sliding door tracks August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, good price. I use this dry lubricant for the moving parts inside my table saw. It keeps the up/down and blade angle mechanism moving easily and sawdust doesn't cling to the moving parts. I also used it on other tools as well as my garage door chain and wheels. The only problem I had was the little straw doesn't stay locked into the spray head as well as I would have liked ... Every once in awhile it comes shooting out. I would definitely buy this same brand again. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as well as advertised Sprays on and leaves NO residue and the drawer works much better and more smoothly than before. Good product and I will buy it again as needed May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dry Lubricant I used this product on my sliding glass doors. It worked very well and I was pleased that it did what it said. No more sticking no more squealing. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best lubricant for windows and doors We service windows installed during the last 25 years, this product is the best lubricant when you do not want a oily residue left on the surface or track. GOES ON WET, then evaporates leaving a clear dry lubricating film that last for months. Apply to all weatherstripping to keep dirt from clinging to the pile, spray on casement window guides, to extend life of component parts and keep window working smoothly. October 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Bad, But For Windows Silicone Worked Better After years of neglect, my home windows needed to be cleaned and lubricated. I tried this because of it being dry, resisting dirt buildup, and no smell. After vacuuming and hand cleaning my tracks/etc I generously applied this to every contact point. It definitely dries quickly to invisible, sprays good, and doesn't smell. And it did help them open/close smoother and easier, but after I was done with all of them I came behind and applied small amounts of silicone (WD-40 brand) to test if it would help them work better. Sure enough, some of the windows that were still stiff loosened up and glided better with the silicone. I think next time I will just stick to the cleaning and silicone for windows. May 2, 2015
