Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. Unfortunately this seal does not come in an 8 ft. length, you may consider model number B-658 that can be special ordered from your local Home Depot, but the dimensions are slightly smaller. B-658 measures 8 ft. in length, but its width is only 1-3/8 inches (instead of 1-1/2 in.) and the depth is only 7/32 in. (instead of 5/16 Read More

2. Measure the height of the screen door.
3. Transfer this measurement onto the vinyl seal with a pen or marker.
4. Cut seal to length with scissors.
5. Starting at the top of the door, press in the square bead of the vinyl seal into the seal channel located along the vertical back edge of the sliding screen door. Install the bug seal with the longer end of the flap facing towards the glass doors.
6. Align the rest of the vinyl seal with the seal channel below, along the back edge of the sliding screen door, pressing in the seal through to the bottom of the door. If the seal drags at the bottom, cut as necessary to avoid drag at bottom.
7. Peel off a strip of the bug seal flap if there is an excess amount of drag on the glass door. For proper width and best operation of bug seal, install the unused portion of the vinyl bug seal and determine the correct amount of strands to peel off of the seal, prior to peeling them off of the actual seal to be installed on the door. This will avoid having an excess amount of seal torn away from your new vinyl bug seal.

Hi HomeMaintWife, I reached out to Prime Line, the manufacture of this product. Prime Line stated that this product is for use with sliding doors that have a pocket or ridge on the back side. You would push the rubber tube part of the bug seal into the pocket, and the flap would hang down to seal out bugs.
If your sliding door does not have a pocket or ridge, you need a different kind of bug seal. You Read More

If your sliding door does not have a pocket or ridge, you need a different kind of bug seal. You can use a universal one, model B 615. Sorry I don't have a video for this product. You can also contact Prime Line at 1-877-649-9740 for more information. Read Less
