Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JustAGuy disengages and hard to pull with
As noted in another review, the knob to work the lock disengages easily requiring reinstallation. Really a cheap mechanism managing the latch. The installation must be exact as well (small latch hook). More importantly, the angle of the edge you press your fingers against while closing the door is angled at such an angle that it is uncomfortable to push the door closed. It should just be a right angle but it is closer to 45 degrees.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoRM Nice sleek look
This fit perfectly on my pocket doors. I changed all my door knobs to the brushed stainless steel and this blended in perfectly. Very easy to install.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KavanSidhu These are great!!
These are great. Much better than my 34 year old ones. The pins are goo too inside. The are full instead of half like my old ones. And the quality it pretty good. Not flimsy at all. And these are totally reversable. The sides unscrew and you can flip them. I have the brown version also and its the same quality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Diana Just what I needed.
I added a half bath with all satin nickel trim and needed a pull/lock for pocket door. I went to several home improvement stores and could not find anything that was an all inclusive piece that served the purpose in satin nickel or any finish. I am so happy that Home Depot carried this product, it made such a difference providing both privacy and ability to open and shut pocket door with ease.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by SethA Latch Mechanism Continually Disengages
I've had to re-install this privacy latch multiple times because the internal pin on the latch mechanism disengages from the internal "u" channels that are connected to the knob. Once that happens, turning the locking knob does nothing. Worse, if the latch engages with the door shut, you cannot unlock the door without using some type of shim.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Maxey substandard compared to the 30 year old latch I replaced.
Product is much thinner gauge metal than original latch which is either Schlage or Quickset. Primeline has one screw each side and the metal face plate bends when tightened. Perhaps the 3-3/4" model, for a few dollars more is better made since it has 2 screws each side at the corners. PL latch spring is bent metal not a coil spring as in original.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by akos Not a reversable design
So disappointed that this is not a reversable design- did not realize this until it was installed. Can only work on left openings (from the inside)
You do offer one that has a reversable design but it is only offered in chrome- from the same manufacturer.

This was the least expensive pocket door hardware I could find. It looks great and works well, but it isn't as durable as I would like.
