Unfortunately, my sliding screen door uses these rollers. I'd rather have a screen door that doesn't but I'm stuck for now. These rollers work well for a week or two then the door starts getting harder and harder to slide as time goes on. The lower rollers have two "leg"s that the roller rides between. What ends up happening is that the two legs start to separate away from the roller and then the door ends up just riding on the metal track with the roller off to one side. They also squeak soon after installation! I have to replace them every six months, or sooner, I'd rather not use them at all!!!

Roller hardware was a perfect fit in my older aluminum screen door for the patio door. Aluminum doors are seldom used today, but if your house has one, this older style hardware is getting hard to find but still works good. None of the local hardware stores carry this item in stock any longer, but Home Depot has it available online and it arrived in just a few days. If your screen door is difficult to open and close, install these new rollers and it will work like new again. A complete kit was under ten dollars.
