Will this T-Handle work on a storage shed built by Morgan's Buildings?

Will this T-Handle work on a storage shed built by Morgan's Buildings?
Asked by: GypsyHeart76
Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. Unfortunately, there is not one locking handle that is standard to all doors, and there is no sure way to determine the correct replacement T-handle without removing one and matching its pertinent dimensions to those listed online. Storage shed manufacturers can often use more than one design within a given series or product line used over the years, making it sometimes difficult to provide an exact match when relying on manufacturer name and series alone. I would encourage you to visit Prime-Line’s website to find the correct replacement T-Locking Handle your storage shed requires. For faster service, be sure to take advantage of the CHAT option located in the lower right-hand corner of your screen, where you can quickly be connected to a representative for assistance. Otherwise, you can contact the manufacturer directly with your questions regarding this item, or any other product manufactured by Prime-Line Products by calling their toll free number at (877) 649-9740, or by contacting them by email at prodtech@primeline.net

T Locking Handle, Keyed Lock, For Metal Doors is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet Quick and easy to swap out old broken handle...just make sure it acres in the same way because there are 2 different types of these handles. 1 thing though is if you really want your locking mechanism to be more secure...get a different one. It is incredibly too easy to pick the locks on these. I had to change the lock on a garage they the owner had one entry in and I went through the garage door...picked the lock in less than 2 minutes...no I'm not a locksmith

No this product didn't help, I was looking for a handle like my broken one; once you lock it, the handle spins 360 degrees until you put it in the unlock position. The sales rep looked up the T Locking Handle, saw the picture and told me that was the model. I had to order it online and had it shipped to the store. I asked if I could check it at the store to make sure that it was right. When I opened the box it looked like the Handles that were available in the store. We tried it out and it did not do the 360 degree feature. Well the customer service rep looked up the item and she discovered that the sales rep must have thought that picture viewing of 360 degrees was the feature of the lock being able to do what I was looking for. Since I could not find my old handle I just keep the wrong one. Well after getting the old Handle off, the T Locking Handle still caused an issue; it has two screw post that were to big for the holes on my garage. I had to buy another handle that was a match for the holes on my garage. I still have the T locking Handle, didn't return it yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Look closely Replaced existing hardware. On existing hardware shaft is square with rounded corners. Shaft on this replacement device is square without rounded corners causing it not to fit in existing hole. Had to drill out existing hole. New device only turns one direction. Had to install upside down and leave it unlocked to get it to work. Fortunate for me, my door already has another lock. If replacing old handle, save the bolts as the ones included were not long enough for my door. Plate was slightly too small to cover existing hole. Price was about one-third of alternatives.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from garage lock handle returned I retruned the handle. It could not be used. There was a pin that held the square rod to the handle that was in the way. That pin was at the same point where the sheet metal of the door was. Did not want to cut the hole 1/4 inch bigger. Found a replacement handle on the internet for 1/2 price, from the same manufacturer that produced the old handle..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OK The initial description I had read didn't indicate garage doors. It didn't serve the purpose intended. I need a very similar lock for a shed door. So although the product may have been ok, it wasn't what I needed and therefore I can't rate it for intended purpose.
