Customer Questions & Answers

Do you only get one pin for $3.97, or is it a package of pins? If so, how many in the package?

Asked by: 79mandella
There are 6 in a package but be concerned as I found them very brittle and broke just holding in your fingers. 25% broke before installing. So bad were the pins I think it was a manufacturing error in formulation of the plastic.

What is the difference between model L5775 and L5650 other than length? One is rated much higher.

We ended up reordering another more expensive hoping they better but are waiting their receipt. We wanted to get the grids up so went ahead and were able to use some but know they will break if and when we ever try to pull out in future. The plastic was overly brittle as just holding them and pinching too hard broke them. Holding some overly careful we were able to get some in. I'd say the batch was defective in the plastic formula as far too brittle. The nail should have gone farther up the shank to the head instead of at the very tip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Product Don't Buy I purchased 2 packs and got 3 out of 12 to go in and not break. The pin does not go up into the shaft far enough and as a result there is only 1/8" or so of the pin in the plastic push rod. If you are not exactly aligned with an existing hole when you apply pressure they just snap at the pin to push rod connection. Poorly engineered and should be withdrawn as a product.
