Customer Reviews

Pro-Series 30 in. x 61 in. x 58 in 3-Piece Glue-Up Tub Wall Surround in High Gloss White is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value - would buy again - I needed to get an economical surround - for the price this is as good as any I looked at online or in store - this was the lowest priced 3 panel surround I could find anywhere - once installed it really looked great especially after running silicone bead around all the edges - Here's a tip on installation - get the gun cartridge of 'tub and shower surround' adhesive (4 tubes) - it wont bleed thru - once the adhesive is cured apply silicone around all the edges - dont make a big bead - just apply the silicone and force it into the joint between the panel and the wall - wipe off the excess and it will leave a nice clean and water proof finish - Also when measureing out the rear panel you may want to overlap it over the side panels (corners) - it will be cleaner and will seal with silicone - this will make a nice one piece looking surround and it will perform excellant -

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value This product was easy to install even in an old house. Looks great even though it was the first time we had put iup anything like this. Would not hesitate to install another tub surround if needed. We are in our 70's so that should tell you how easy it was.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised. Luckily this arrived without damage even though the box took some abuse. The thickness was better than what I expected. I imagine the $60 surrounds might be a little thinner. By reading other reviews of other products, I suspected that the shelves might be flimsy, which they are. I sprayfoamed the inside of them like others had done and it worked out fine. Instead of being able to squeeze the shelf now it is a little bit bulged with the foam, but no big deal, still flat enough for soap. At least someone can grab it without hurting it. It might have been better if I bought the window/door foam instead of regular, less expansion pressure. I skipped cutting the bottom, but did cut one side and it snapped easily against a straight edge, no risk of breaking what you didn't cut. The directions call for trowelable adhesive, but the store doesn't even sell any made for plastics. I found that a little annoying trying to figure out. Don't accidentally use the 3M one for FRP, I don't think that's safe. I ended up just using the caulking gun and the product they recommend in the bathtub isle for shower panels. Loctite Power Grab. It was very thick and stuck well, I didn't even have to pull it away from the wall for a few moments like some call for. It called for putting up the two short sides first, which looked like a mistake because the short sides have the nice rounded edge which looks like it should go over the blunt edges of the big piece. I put the large piece on last and just caulked the sharp edge with silicone, still not knowing if I did it right, but it looks fine. So the confusion lies in the directions, but it all worked out ok for the price.
