How far apart are the pickets spaced? I have two small Chihuahuas and the traditional 4" spacing is too wide for them.

Given the 6ft height of this panel, it does not make sense that the previously listed posts (118674, 118675, and 118676) are only 6ft long. What about the necessary buried portion?

Answer:
You could use an 8 or 9 foot 4"x4" vinyl post, but you would have to cut the holes for panel insertion. They make 6 foot posts with the holes already in them for this fence panel.

Is the material strong. The reason I am needing to replace my fence us my Jack Russell is ripping the wood apart.

Answer:
The material is fairly tough, and might hold up better than wood like pine or cedar that could splinter. However, I would not recommend this fence for your J.R. terrier, and he would probably make a mess of it. You would be investing quite a bit in something for its good appearance, only to jeopardize it's beauty.
