Answer:
Measure the existing seal, or the T track itself from the end - so you are measuring the INSIDE of the T track itself. Also the width of the entire track, from outside edge of each T to get the width. Anything you install will be significantly bigger to create the 'loop' and fill the gaps below the door

Answer:
We do not manufacture an aluminum channel, only a PVC channel. It is sold as a kit. The item numbers for the kits are 54008, 54009, 54016, 54018 and 54020. To find these items, just search HomeDepot.com and enter the item number followed by "door seal", in the search bar.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked as advertised Worked well for me. Slipped the old worn seal out and easily slipped this new one in. Probably took 5 minutes. Looks like good quality but only time will tell. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garage door bottom seal Very easy to install - provides great seal from elements (and critters). would definitely recommend to any DIY'er July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst purchase I ever made First of all the seal has 3/16" T-Ends, not 1/4" as advertised. Consequently the seal literally fell out of the rails in the door bottom. This happened 5 or 6 times until I finally glued it in place. I should have returned it because it is cheap, flimsy and poorly manufactured. April 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not the right fit this is a universal fit that is difficult. I hired another to install a better product February 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MEASURE first !!! Measure your existing rubber seal first !!! or the track. This is 1/4 width T track install, I had the 5/4 and had to return this one, as with another.... If you need the 5/4 and put this in, it will install, but within a day or so start to fall right out of the track. Also when you install, leave ~3-5 inches extra on each end, then fold the extra inside of itself - helps keep in place and without moving outside the track. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Garage door Bottom seal The product was as described and was easy to install. I needed 9 feet and it came as 10 which was appreciated. Price was also low and a service call was avoided which saved even more money. Pick up at store was the weakest part of the process. Had to wait for someone to man the service desk after repeated pages. Once a person arrived it was smooth. January 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Seals the door I found the rubber to be too soft. Installation was a breeze, no soap needed to fit it into my channels. I have a Cloplay, pretty standard door. After a few days, it started working its way out of the channel, even after the ends were crimped. In order to keep it in, i had to crimp all along both channels. Don't know what will happen when i replace it again... probably need a new channel. I'll let you know in 5 years:) September 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 80538 garage door bottom seal: couldn't find correct one, with lot's of searching but with the help of Homepot this one worked! after searching for a replacement garage door bottom seal, for quite some time, I was able to find a close match at Home depot. I ordered product picked up in store, and was able to make work with a couple of added adjustments. thank you HOME DEPOT December 23, 2015
